Fantasy Book Club discussion

This is the official folder for all authors to post promotions of their works for our membership to view. Promotions include such things as announcements of soon-to-be released works, personal appearances and book signings, contests, synopses of novels, links to sample chapters, offers of review copies and any other postings relating purely to publicity for your works.

This group is for primarily for readers. As such, self-promotion should only appear in this folder; any mention outside of this folder will be moved here or deleted. Repeated mistakes could result in your removal from the group at the discretion of the moderators.

As an author, you cannot nominate your own book for the monthly read. However, if your book is nominated by someone else and voted as a monthly read, we welcome you to participate in a Q&A with our members.

This is a group dedicated to Fantasy, so please only promote books in the genre. A few of our members also read in closely related genres (SF, Horror, LitRPG, etc.), but if your book falls into those, you will probably have more success in groups dedicated to them.

Finally, a bit of advice: when promoting your book, include a Goodreads link (if your book has an entry), a synopsis and any relevant information to help a reader determine if they would enjoy your book (is it a standalone? Light or dark tone? Adult or YA? etc.). Our members are more likely to give your book a try that way than if you just give the title and dump a link to Amazon.

Note for members that have received free copies of a book from authors promoting here: please consider leaving a review, or at least give feedback with constructive criticism. If an author gave you for free the product of countless hours of work, they deserve to hear your thoughts.
