Yay!! White Fragility & Educated are definitely added to my list.
My favorite book that I read in January is These Wilds Beyond Our Fences by Bayo Akomolafe; a series of letters written to the author’s daughter about humanity’s search for home. It’s beautiful and provocative and deals with some very heavy concepts that will make you pause and reflect time and time again as you read. It works through some conflicting ideologies in order to explore every avenue for discerning the meaning of life—there’s something in there for everyone.
Hope everyone had a great January!

Hello - New to the group. I read the following in January: 1) The Bookshop of Yesterdays - fun read, summer type of read
2) The Silent Patient - Awesome read, did not see that coming, HIGHLY recommend
3) The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek - very interesting, recommend
4) The French Photographer - interesting story but I had high expectations it didn't quite meet, recommend
5) Eastern Shore Shorts - bought this while on vacation in Eastern Shore, wish the writing was better, sweet stores, summer type of read
6) White Houses - learned a little about the Roosevelt's White House, wish the writing was better - not recommended
Don't expect too many for Feb! Can't wait to read about other's books.
Thanks, Rebecca
