You Don't Know Me by David Klass? The Wikipedia summary mentions that Stan (the abusive stepfather) forces John (the main character) to help load stolen TVs into a truck at one point: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Don...

The basic plot is the main character has depression (though it never explicitly says this in the book) and he suffers bullies at school then comes home to his mom and his abusive stepfather. There's a girl who is several social classes higher than he is, and his stepfather is involved in the large scale theft of tv's and tries to force the MC to get into it as well.
The whole novel is written in this really confusing manner where everything contradicts itself and yet makes a coherent whole. I've forgotten what the title was but I just remembered that it was written in the same contradiction that the story was. It was something like I am and I am not, or I'm here and I'm gone or something like that, I can't remember. I really want to read this book again.
