I don’t have much time to go to events and conferences so I feel like I’m missing out on ways to help me start a future run. What are some ways I can continue learning without sacrificing my personal life?

With everyone living busy schedules it can sometimes feel impossible to even consider throwing a run for office on the table. That’s why She Should Run created their Virtual Cohorts, so you don’t have to leave your house to start your journey. The Virtual Cohort is an online leadership program that provides an approachable starting place for women to envision themselves in political leadership and explore a future run for office. Those are your donors and campaign volunteers and people who'll tell their friends how great you are. I think a good way to manage can be to set some boundaries about only doing one event per week so you don't overdo it. Also, I've gotten active on social media communities for local political things and causes and that's a great way to connect and start establishing some expertise from home.
