Hi everyone! And please excuse my poorly spelled english! I was looking through the challenges and decided to pick up the yearly history challenge. I'm obviously delayed, but I liked the themes so much! I'll try to follow at least some of it. So, as the books to read in January must be from 2014, I started to browse in search of some. Truth be told, Beyond magenta is the only lgbtq from 2014 that I've read, but now I've found a bunch of interesting reads thanks to you!
Here are the ones I've decided on so far:
These are some interesting books aimed at children. I want to see how they handle the lgbtq subject.
These are YA...I'm not really into this genre, but we'll see.
Some graphic artsy book, seems nice. We'll see how it turns out as well.
I'm also looking forward to read Hita-hita and Aoi hana, they seem to be of quality. The first one is still ongoing, it is from 2011 but it was released online last year so I'll count it as a 2014 manga. The second one is from 2004 but it was completed on 2014 so I'll take it in.
I hope to complete the january challenge before the end of the month, and if anyone else has some suggestions I'll be happy to add them!
