The Tributary discussion

The Awoken are returning and none are ready. The Awoken were born of both Light and Dark, something that was never meant to happen. The universe was to be painted in extremes, The Light and The Dark, but the Awoken shattered that dream. The walk the thin line between light and dark, a line as fine as the edge of a knife. They are the ones who must keep the balance between the two. To much dark and nothing can grow but to much light will burn everything.

The Awoken of the Tributary have been discovered, after centuries of hiding they have emerged from the shadows. The humans send diplomat after diplomat to the Awoken's gates, only for them to be turned away again and again. The Queen only selects of few of them to enter the city. The rare few tell of the wonders of the City, of the strange race that inhabits it, and of the Queen ever dark and mysterious.

With in the Tributary fear and apprehension rise as the Queen allows humans into the City of Awoken. A place where only the Awoken have ever set foot, a place meant for immortals not mortals. The Great Houses of the Awoken beg the Queen to return to hiding to leave the world of humans that the Awoken had left so long ago.
