Scar: One scar the size of the Master’s blade, thick as her thumb, running down her back. Under that, whip marks strewn across her skin and sides,

Marking: Not so much of a marking, but more so of a signature sign of the House of Silence. The leader’s lips are stitched together. The color of the string varies from day to day. Sometimes she changes to blue, black, even gold.

Personality: Obviously, Swan is quiet. She mainly communicates through either writing, sign language, art, or her preferred way, tracing letters on someone’s skin. She spells out words on their palm, pausing for spaces.
She’s quite the, peculiar Awoken. No one really seeks her company, they are slightly freaked out by her odd history and ways of living. She takes the saying “Silent but Deadly” to a whole new level.

History: Swan had grew up in a house full of sixteen people. Many of them were siblings. She was the eldest out of eight siblings- and often was the one who worked overtime to get some extra food for everyone. The girl worked multiple jobs- ranging from a part-time desk clerk, or just a simple wagon loader. Whatever there was- Swan tried it. The sad part is, she did anything that involved money, and that included allowing some to, use her body in ways that shamed the gods.
Swan had only allowed that to happen twice- and almost allowed it for a third time if she had not found the Games. She could’ve chosen anyone to go after, but she chose the Head of the House of Silence.
Oh how that battle was bloody. How victorious she felt when she knew her family no longer had to worry about food or money- but now, she had to worry about something far greater.
Keeping herself alive.


Why should I let you in (view spoiler)[ It was a boiling summer day, especially in the thick robes the Royals and Houses adorned. Swanonal was not surprised when many Lords and Ladies had bowed to the king and moved to the safety of the castle’s shadow. While the Head of the guards announced the following executions, the King and his advisor quietly spoke to one another, making idle chat about the upcoming celebration of the Prince’s Birthday. That was when, a certain name was called out- Swan never knew how the hell Lucinian heard his wife’s name above the pleading and crying of the audience that watched. The wailing of those who mourned the loses- or the roar of those who were relieved to see another scoundrel dead.
Honestly, when the name of his wife was called out, Swan felt shock rise within her. For what she did to have Swanonal herself required to execute Othana Threshnoal.
“..charged with neglect, abuse, and starvation of a mere infant child. I hereby declare you banished from the world of life- and may your journey to the world of Hell he one of torture.” The audience was shocked into silence, the only noise that was heard was Lucinian cursing and claiming such was not true- that it couldn’t have been true!

Damn this blistering heat- Swan cursed, allowing the grip of her axe to loosen. Her palms were clammy, skin itching from the layer of blood and sweat that covered her- and disgusted by the rotting smell of death around her. Of all the days for the weather to be boiling- it had to be this day? Why must execution be so, messy. (hide spoiler)]

Oh, how Swan stuck with the King. Out of every house, the House of Silence was the utmost loyal, and unsure. Many rumors of rebellion and plotted murders were thrown around. Many claimed that- they’d found plans of the Silent One’s idea of the King’s death. Swan had no idea that the moment she earned her title, all of these claims and back-stabbing Nobels would be thrown at her.

Well, by her thirtieth year of being a Nobel, Swan lost her mind on the house of Devils. Nobody had thought that she of all people would injure the once-beloved solider that “oh-so-bravely” kilt a thousand men in war.
“Ha! You think that I don’t know what your doing!” the Devil claimed. “You stupid little bit-“ a gasp left the man, his words unable to be finished by the dagger in his skin. Oh, how Swan wanted to do more damage. She wanted to do more than destroy the hand that weild

| Biography |
Uldren was raised away from the capital, away from his family. The forest Awoken raised him, to be the prince the Awoken needed. A hunter. To guide his sister, to be the one that did what must be done. He visited the city on occasion to bring news of the forest tribes. It was always a dull affair with stiff hands shakes and dismissing stares. The people loved the prince who'd been raised among them but it had cost him the love of the Houses. He loved the forest far more than he did the city with it's wall and cramped streets. He had grown use to the open stretches of trees and mountains, of the hunts. He was only summoned back to the capital when he was need the most and they did need him.

Uldren's Challenge

After the dual he returned to the forest for a time to get away from the capital. Oh how the crowds had cheered his name as he emerged alive from each dual. Even when that fool Sjur Eido's bullet pierced his flesh, the crowds wouldn't quiet. He hated it, he had simply done his duty and fought for his sister. Why did they care so much? His life returned to what it had been for a while, the quiet of the forest bringing him a freedom he had been born to. Then his father died, poison ate away at him they said. It hit Uldren harden then he thought it would've. He'd never been particularly close to his father. In fact he'd barely known the man, who'd sent him to the forest when he was born. His mother called him back to the capital, saying his sister would need him now. When he returned he heard the whispers behind his back. The Crow they'd take to calling him. A fitting name. He built up his operatives, a first to keep his family safe, but soon after he found other uses for them. His crows.

Uldren does his duty, he does what must be done and he does it to extremes. His arrogance seeps into everything he does. He thinks no one can beat him, something that'll get him killed eventually. He hides everything behind a smirk as watches everyone and everything for mistakes. The people love him, the prince who saved their queen, it's something he never quiet understood. Nevertheless he puts on a show, a charismatic smile spreading his face as he waves to the masses. He might as well play along. Uldren harbors a quite resentment of his family, of his role. How he must bow to every word his sister says, he wanted freedom not a life of servitude. Yet he does his duty as he must never showing his bitterness, only doing what must be done. He is a prince and his sister, the queen. He knows his place and she knows hers, that will never change.

| Biography |
Jolyon was born so far along the line of succession in the House of Devils he never expected to be made heir. His father was barely part of the family, and his mother wasn't even part of the great house. As was the practice in many of the great houses Jolyon was sent to the forests to train as a Paladin or Crow. He met his future prince and closest friend there, the prince Uldren Sov. The two became close there, always pushing there way to the top. They both returned to the city together, to absolute quiet. No one cared their prince had returned, and no one noticed Jolyon. The King was dead, he'd died the night before. Jolyon still remembers, the chuckle and shake of Uldren's head when he heard the news. Jolyon knew that Uldren resented his father in more ways than one, but still it shocked him. Jolyon became Uldren's closest confidant in the earlier years, when Uldren was just settling into his position as Master of Crows. They still found time to escape the city, the stuffed up nobles the both hated. Jolyon was a talented crow, one that the Queen called on often. She was nothing like her brother, the people loved Uldren and feared Mara.

Jolyon always seems ready to laugh or crack a smile. A joke always ready to leave his lips to relieve the tension in any situation. Nothing ever phases him, not the insults his Kell with throw at him for serving Uldren when he could have held the title of Kell. Not when other houses sneer at the heir of Devils. He just laughs in their faces, a grin always taking the place of a frown. He doesn't care about his house or the other houses. The only reason he returned to the City was Uldren. His prince had asked and no one could refuse Uldren for long.

| Biography |


Venja was raised by the Tribe of the Sun. Of course, she wasn’t born into said tribe- she was a sort of a, er.. gift of a sorts. Born into a family of wealth and nobility, she was taught to keep her trap shut and obey commands.
So when Venja was born, they all knew she last long, what with her mother wanting to spoiler her. So, they did one of the most foolish things they could think of: they entered the forest and handed her over to the Tribes.

Venja was taken pity on by the chiefs of the tribes. What kind of father would voluntarily give their child to those who might kill it? So, they shaped Venja into this, weapon. Somewhat highly intelligent, and a force on the battlefield. They taught her many things, forced her to develop quick reflexes. Their tactics were more brutal for her than the coming and going City folk who were to be trained. It was to the point where they broke her right arm so she could learn to do everything with her left. They almost did the same with her legs to make sure she didn’t rely on one side more than the other.

They shaped her into this, ideal warrior. There was a flaw though- she struggled with knowing when enough was enough. She’d go too far when it comes to certain missions.

Soon, she was called a monster, and was told she didn’t belong in this tribe. Didn’t belong in the family that gave her up. There would be nowhere for her the moment she comes of age. That age.. didn’t come for a while. With the lack of emotion, other than anger and spite, Venja was slow on a lot of mental things. She couldn’t understand emotions well, nor could she handle certain things such as children or helping with nursing serious wounds. She was somewhat, weak-minded.

| Personality |

You see, Venja is a very, very lazy person. How she was able to grab the title she bears now, is actually a funny story. She sleeps quiet often, and in her spare time, instead of shining her armor and sharpening her skills (not like she needs to), she lays on the top of the Keep and just watches the clouds.
So, yes, she’s quiet literally the laziest guard you’d ever meet, but she’s also the most intelligent. The Head of Guards themself tested her with a handful of IQ tests that were just child’s play to her. Ven is very strategic, and with that, she’s very handy with many things. With how lazy she is, she’s sadly the most well-kept and cleanest. Hey, this one’s got her weird charm.

Despite this, Venja is quiet a, numb person. From the years of a destructive life, she’s grown to be quiet the unemotional person. Cut off from feeling much other than anger and stress. Indeed, she’s hard to get to- and often times when she feels, somewhat happy or relaxed, it freaks her out.

What impresses so many people, is the mere fact that Venja can intimidate just about anyone. It’s a natural thing. Her face rests with this, blank, lifeless expression, and her eyes are glazed over and those crystal orbs seem to be staring into your soul when they look at you.
