“This isn’t a game Venja! If you don’t play your part like the rest of us- then what’s the point of evening being a Paladin!”
A droplet of spit landed on the white cheek of Venja’s skin. A look of disgust barely managed to break her blank expression. Instead of expressing her obvious distaste to the low-class Nobel who stood before her, she merely stood there quietly. Cold, white eyes just bore into his, holding nothing but an intense look. The Awoken female was so very close to her five hundred and ninety-ninth birthday, and this had to fucking happen.
“Give it a rest, Böth. She just arrived from the Sun Tribe little over a year ago.” Another spoke. “You’re just wasting your energy on her. It’s not worth it, trust me.” The man lifted a hand and jabbed her forehead with two fingers. Venja stood still like stone, not flinching nor reacting to the offensive actions. Instead, she merely sighed and fixed her fingers which were locked behind her.
“Nothing gets through to what ever’s in there..” another jab. “If there’s even anything in there..” and another. “Honestly it’d be a shock if she even responded to- ack! Shit! You bitch!”
Venja had a hand wrapped around the man’s fingers, squeezing them with such an intensity, that it was a surprise his bones only broke instead of shattered.
“You know..” she began. Her voice was quiet dull and low for a women. Often mistaken for a male. “.. your words are quiet rude..” she continued, taking the Nobels now broken fingers and moving them away from her face. “..and inflicting unwanted physical contact with an on-duty guard or Paladin can lead to up to you two dealing with quiet the handful of court cases..” she explained. The women sounded as if she had repeated these words hundreds of times. That she found them, boring.

“Tch- those only apply to the common fol- augh!” The Nobel tried to jerk away from her crushing grip on his fingers. “Let me go you bitch!”
Venja sighed once more, “You’re just adding onto the now growing list of offense.” She hummed, giving one last squeeze before letting go. “And you are quiet wrong, Sir Othon..” she began, the dull glaze in her eyes sharped. “It applies to everyone. Even the Queen and Prince.” she said quietly. “So I’d advise you to go on your way now and I’ll pretend this never happened. Alright?”

Just like that, Venja was alone at her post once more,
