Play Book Tag discussion

This book was better than I expected for a romance with a teen rock star, and I may end up reading other Jamieson brother novels (but then, it won't be the same two characters and story, so it's hard to say how that will go).

Libby is miserable--her mother and sister died, her depressed father dumped her with an aunt, the aunt is a nasty alcoholic who treats her poorly and all she has left going for her is working hard in school to graduate early and get out of there--but ideally with her dad, who she hopes will turn up any time. Peter meets her when his family stops at one of their favourite nature haunts while on tour, and--you guessed it--sparks fly right away. One of the reason I liked it is there was none of the things I dislike about romance genre in it. The other is that the story was well done for a y/a romance and it's not a clear path from beginning to end because (shocking, I know) things come up to thwart and discourage both of them. This is a romance novel, though, so this is a high rating for me.
