I don't believe so. It's one of Rainbow Rowell's best. It's mature, honest and heartwarmingly full of love. I love the touch of magic realism in it. In all, it's one of those best books that you enjoy reading being curled up in the winter chill.
This was a dud....really disappointed as there were a few more books that should have been higher than this one. It lacked substance and was predictable = boring.
thank goodness other people aren't loving this book, i thought i was the only one! i couldn't wait to finish it and not in a good way. i felt that the characters had no redeeming qualities and i didn't care how they ended up, separated or married, because i didn't care if they were happy or not. i saw this book on so many must read lists and i don't understand why.
Didn't really care for this book. I read it because it was on Goodreads reader's choice 2014 list - who voted for this???
Glad to hear you felt the same Jen, Courtney and Lisa. I was wondering why I didn't have the same reading experience as everyone else.
I was very disappointed in this book I really don't get why it had so many votes. I had to force myself to finish it.
So happy to know that this book won the Goodreads choice award. One of the best contemporary novel I've read :)
