Mount TBR 2015 discussion

Last year I aimed for 36 and only got to 23. This year I'm determined to make it Mt. Vancouver and maybe, just maybe, even higher.

Book one done - The Thousand Dollar Tan Line (Veronica Mars #1). My TBR pile just got a little shorter.

Off and running!

Two more books done: Simply Sexual and What We See When We Read. My ultimate goal is to reduce my TBR pile which in addition to reading from my TBR pile also includes not adding to it. That will be the real challenge. There are already 3 or 4 books I want to purchase but I'm going to try to get through January without adding to the pile, and even then to buy less than I read. So if I read 5 books in January the most books I could buy in February is 4.

I'm trying to do the same thing, Tiffani, and it feels just as impossible! Ten days and I already feel like I achieved something :) Good luck with your goals!

January has been a good start to the year with regards to reading TBR books. So far I've read 8:
Simply Sexual, The Thousand-Dollar Tan Line, What We See When We Read, Broken, Just One Year, The Fault in Our Stars, The Circle, and Silenced. On the down side, I did buy quite a few books in January too. Goal for February - no more than 2 new books.

I'm hoping to reduce my by TBR pile overall by the end of the year which I know means not only reading from TBR, but reading more than I buy. That is proving to be a real challenge.

I made it up the first mountain, Pike's Peak. That's right, my TBR pile is now 12 books smaller!

Hi Tiffani! Congrats on your progress! At the beginning of the year I vowed not to buy any books before my Mt. Ararat challenge is complete. And you know what... even though I considered myself a border-line book shopoholic, it's been going so well, I haven't bought a single book in 2015 (also, duh, libraries!) and I don't even struggle with being tempted to buy books. So take courage, it can be done! :)

Up to 20 books so far. Was hoping to hit 24 and Mount Blanc by the end of May, maybe next month.
