My book has the first cover listed. The second cover with the animals is my favorite. The third cover reminds me of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas due to its odd collection of neon signs. I don't know much about this book. I recently learned that a wildly popular Night Vale podcast exists, but I haven't listened to it. I bought a hardcover book in a used book store in Tacoma, Washington two years ago and it has been lingering on my "to read" shelf. I was attracted to the book because of the yellow cover and the purple pages - it reminded me of 60's sci-fi. Upon looking closer, I discovered it was the second book in a series and that is how I came to pick Welcome to Night Vale as the book for March so that I could start at the beginning of the story. My hardcover will have to linger a bit longer on that shelf.
I don't know much about this book going in (as Michelle stated we bought the sequel a long time ago not knowing it was part of a series). I think someone told me to listen to the podcast once, maybe? On Kindle I have the first cover listed, and I consider it the least interesting. I think I would pass this book up on the shelf. The other two versions are much more appealing to my eye.
Off I go! (I'm cheating, I actually read the first four chapters already, my bad).

* The cover:
* Title Page(s)
* Copyright page
* Dedication: To Meg Bashwiner and to Jillian Sweeney.
I'll start making categories for chapter sets soon. The official start date for reading is March 1st but feel free to join us anytime.
