Here are the Challenges for 2015.

All the familiar ones are still there and I have added a few more.

Double Dog Dare is a new challenge that you can use to keep track of the tasks that your favorite groups challenge you to complete. For example one of the groups to which I belong presents a different challenge each month as well as a book to read with the group AND periodic Read-A-Thons. I need to keep track of myself so I don't skip the books that I choose for these events.

Mid year Cheryl made a suggestion of reading books from/about a certain era or decade. I like that idea, it is different than reading books from a specific year. Look to Time Waits for No One if you want to create this challenge for yourself.

Since some people showed an interest in the book connections challenge, there is one included here for that called Chain Link Fence .

As always, feel free to ask me to add one that you have designed, if it does not fit within these listed. Be sure to let me know about any broken links.

I wish you the best for the coming year whatever challenges life presents to you.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Woot! Double Dog Dare might be really helpful to me, as we have two yearlong challenges and several monthlies coming up in Bookworm's Cocoon.

Darkpool | 55 comments Chain link fence does sound like a fascinating idea! I always get excited when I realise the books I am reading have unexpected connections. The trick might be working out what book to start with!

This will be my third year doing this challenge and is one of my two favorites, the other being Yearbook.

My advice for your first book is to just pick one that you want to read anyway, although it helps if there are lots of word in you first title!

You'd be surprised how easy it is to find connections among books. But when the challenge is there, and obviously perplexing, you will force yourself to consider books for which you gave no previous thought. Because of this your reading will take you to other genres and surprising fun.

I started using this mid-year, because I couldn't keep track of all of the monthly group reads and challenge participation in the groups to which I belong.

If only I can remember to mark those books as shelved on Double Dog Dare!

Janice (jamasc) | 64 comments I wonder if you should change the wording on the left-over stew challenge to "previous years" rather than specifying 2013?

Darkpool | 55 comments Might be worth noting that the accessing the challenges from the group home page appears to only (only!?) show a maximum of 30 challenges. We have 31. Here Ye! is the one that has dropped off the bottom, and the only way I can see to get to it is via the link in this thread.
