Mystery - Paper Towns by John Green

Whether or not you like mystery, John Green's solid characterization and imagery in this story really bring the reader back to high school. It's obviously intended for a high school-age audience, and with an even lower reading level, but it has perfect YA themes. It shows ideas of whether or not high school is for everyone, parents really influence their teens, love is obtainable, leaving home young is acceptable, and happily ever after really does need to exist. These interesting ideas in a coming-of-age mystery with comedy, suspense, and adventure, make a great read for anyone looking for a fun mystery novel.
