Hi, everyone we've posted a new poll for the novel to read in March. Please find the poll here . The selections for March are:

#89—Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
#29—Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
#100—Doña Bárbara by Rómulo Gallegos
#51—Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
#96—White Teeth by Zadie Smith

The poll will run from February 23 to March 2,

Thank you so much for your participation.

I see that White Teeth is in the lead right now. I have to admit I don't really know anything about this one, but it looks interesting. The reviews here on Goodreads are all over the place, with many one-star reviews and many five-star reviews. It does look like the kind of thing I might enjoy.

I've never gotten around to reading Great Expectations though, and I'd really like to read that one at some point too.

Of all the books to choose from I'm least interested in Americanah and Doña Bárbara, at the moment. I would be interested in either one of the top two, but probably leaning toward White Teeth, I'd never really heard of it either until now.

Bethany | 123 comments I loved Americanah, (Adichie is a wonderful author), and Their Eyes Were Watching God is one of my favorite books, but I haven't read White Teeth. That's why it has my vote.

The winner for the March poll is White Teeth by Zadie Smith. I'll set up a discussion topic and send out a broadcast message later today. Thanks to all who voted!

It will be interesting to read this one. I found a copy for sale yesterday on "Better World Books" (my new favorite shopping place). I should get it by Friday and hopefully I'll have finished Wuthering Heights by then.
