Thanks, guys! I spent more time making my Christmas cards and addressing envelopes last week than I did reading. I may have them all ready to go out by a Thanksgiving. 😮 I did start to listen to a Christmas book I found on YouTube, a collection of four novellas, but I got halfway through (first two stories) and discovered they only uploaded half the book. Who does that?? I was able to get the ebook online with a credit, but though I received confirmation, and it’s showing up online in my digital library, it’s not downloading to my device. Technology! I know I can read it on my phone, but I find that harder on my eyes than reading on the Nook or Kindle. Meanwhile, I’ve started another double challenge book.

Brenda and Meg — Yes, I was reading from about 11 pm until 5 am. Not intentionally. Initially, I wanted to get to within one hundred from the end and finish it today. I got caught up in the action, though, and couldn’t put it down. 😐

Okay, I'll probably regret asking this, but...which book was it? It says a lot when it grabs you and won't let go.

I bet you're feeling the effects now though ;)
Meg— The President Is Missing by Clinton/Patterson. I mentioned a little bit about it in the “When you’re not reading a cozy” discussion.
Brenda— I am feeling tired now. Game ended after 10:30, am watching delayed local news to catch the weather before heading to bed. We’ve had a cold front move in and the wind has really risen the last couple hours— I can hear it gusting. (Shivers)

I'm going to call it a day, having finished 3 books. I'm on my 4th book, but I won't finish it in time because I'm buddy reading it with a friend and she told me she won't be able to start the book for at least another week. So, I'm reading it slowly and making other books a priority. See message #4.

I hate the wind too - we've had some storms lately with strong winds which have knocked down trees and taken off roofs. Sleep well :)
