**** Updated with Game and Group Read Directions *****

This will be a two part- mini challenge involving the use of 'book spines' (book titles) that I hope will be a fun twist on our usual group reads.

PART ONE- Book Spine Interview
Complete by April 1st

For the first half of the Book Spine April Group Read Challenge, we are going to be doing a fun interview.
You will be responding to my questions with only the titles of Austenesque books for your answers.

I have twelve questions listed below.
In your comment, number your replies to match the question numbers.
You must use a book title that you feel is Austenesque or has an Austenesque flavor.
The books can be from your own shelves or can be from elsewhere just so long as it has a GoodReads page or you can leave the link where the book may be found. For this game, only published or completed books, please. It can be any format- audio, paper, or electronic.
BUT...
It behooves you to make at least one of the answers to be a book from your own shelf or to be read list or more if you want more options in Part Two.
BECAUSE...
When you get done completing the Book Spine Interview, you will pick your April Group Read from one of those titles.
So, on to the interview and feel free to show your humorous side with some sly choices!

1. Describe yourself.
2. How are you feeling today?
3. Describe where you live.
4. How would you like to get around?
5. If you could go anywhere, where would it be?
6. My friend is __________. (fill in the blank)
7. What's the weather like?
8. What is your favorite thing to do or to see?
9. What do you fear?
10. What is your best advice?
11. What is your thought for the day?
12? Describe your worst day.

Remember finish up by March 31st, share your list of answers, and at the bottom also share which book from the group of answers you picked for your April book.

I enjoyed the first one and Jane Cooper should be better known. I often write "No Cassandra, no Jane Austen". One could add "No Jane Cooper, no Jane Austen". The power of one life saving letter...
