8. Never let a stumble be the end of your journey. Read a book about someone who's mentally or cognitively challenged.
9. We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children. Read a book involving the theme of sustainable living.
10. A cup of positivi-tea is like having a bath on the inside. Read a book with a pun in its title.

Escape
1. Houdini.
Read a book about someone who escapes confinement or seeks freedom.
2. Take a break from life. Read a book that involves a hobby or pastime.
3. Don't fence me in. Read a western or a book involving prison.
4. Hegira: a flight or escape to safety. Read about a migrant, a refugee, or an asylum-seeker.
5. Not all who wander are lost. Read a book about a wandering or lost person or with a title including "wander," "lost," or related words.
6. Virtual living. Read a book in the fantasy or science fiction genre.
7. We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us. Read a travelogue or a book that takes place on multiple continents.

9. It is always fair sailing, when you escape evil. Read a book with a title or cover art that's related to sailing, ships, the ocean, or evil.

Just completed #8 (cognitive abilities) - The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng. I truly enjoyed this book! The writing was quiet, elegant, and descriptive. The subject matter is not easy, but it is an important story to tell. We are all more than our worst moment in life. My only criticism was I felt there were a few loose ends that could have been explained a touch better. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars

Thanks Carmen, they are lovely! Absolutely agree with the second one. Glad you are enjoying your moderator role :)

Night Circus was not really my cup of tea, but it was ok for an escape. I love Good Omens, read it for a fifth or so time for my bookclub and still ejoy it. It was a great choice to have a book which makes fun of an apocalypse in these strange times.

Hope you are staying safe too!

Just completed #4 (overcoming adversity) - Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke. I really liked this book! I just felt like the drinking aspect was one thing too much. The plot was really tight, mystery was good, and she described east Texas so beautifully I felt like I was there. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars

❎8. Never let a stumble be the end of your journey. Read a book about someone who's mentally or cognitively challenged. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Incredible as it may seem, I have never seen the film, so I faced the book without any prior prejudice and I have to say that I was greatly surprised. A classic, I think, everyone should read.
