Read a paperback in the 80s (1982-1986-ish) from a friend of mine which was a compilation of short stories ; doubt Stephen King (given my example below), could have been Clive Barker but I've already checked out all his books on the web and couldn't find the story. (Still might be him)

One of the stories was about a man who brought home a woman (prostitute?) and puts a hood on her with zippered opening for eyes , nose, mouth. WInds up zipping all shut, she suffocates while he's in the kitchen, he comes out and has sex with her, but she's already come back to life and eats him. The word "Bloom" may have been in the title of the short story but not of the novel itself.
