Nancy De The book I read is called “Far From You” by Tess Sharpe. One of the best books I’ve read so far. I really enjoyed reading it. I like how it kept me interested throughout the whole story. The main characters in this book are Sophie, who used to do drugs, and Mina. Sophie and Mina have been friends since little and have built a really strong friendship, but comes to an end when Mina gets killed. After witnessing Mina getting killed, Sophie goes through a really hard time. Sophie is put into rehab by her parents, who think she had relapse. Even though she’s been clean for months, yet she isn’t believed. Finally, after coming out of rehab Sophie has set her mind to finding out who the murderer is. At the end Sophie learns many things and has gone through so much. For starters, Sophie learns that people who she least expects can be the ones to hurt her the most. And she struggled with keeping her romantic relationship with Mina a secret because of what others might think of them. What I found most interesting is the love triangle in the story. You don’t notice it at first, but reading more towards the middle and end readers are able to identify who is involved. I also liked how the story would go back and forth on the events that happen before and after Mina was murdered. I will admit it’s a little confusing at first, but you get the hang of it. I feel that this book not only will keep you interested, but can teach you different lessons. For example, it can teach readers how to react to a similar situation. And how bad decisions can bring many bad consequences. Also that you shouldn’t be keeping secrets because you’re afraid of what others might think. Like I said I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it.
