Picking this up tomorrow from library. I have the hodder 2007 edition but don’t want to bend the spine ☺️

I'm not able to start it until a little later on this month. All of my holds from my library came in all at once, go figure lol. I'm trying to get through some of those before they go back first, but I can't wait to get started with this. I've only read one other Bachman book.
Yea I have like 5 other books on hold and 3 I’m suppose to read this month lol... I need another me😆

I picked of blaze again last night and can not put it down! I feel asleep and woke up with it next to me lol

Tell me it gets better after he steals the baby. I still haven't picked it up and the month is literally almost over. I have had one heck of a month.

oh shit Animal Crossing!!! Just bought my "bigger" house. Um why is it's 198,000 bells for one more foot of space around the perimeter??? sigh... and yes I didn't even pick the book back up lol.

I don't even have Animal Crossing and I'm sucked in! I've just been watching my boyfriend play...now I kinda want it lol. And meh, I'm not saying skip this one, but it was kinda average.
I like it so far . I think I’ll keep trying to read it . Something about the character blaze that makes me want to know what happens
Ok a month later but I finally finished blaze lol... it was a great read ... I really felt sad about blaze.. I’m going to start April’s read tonight

Yep. I've already put in 20,000 bells for my bridge and the residents of my island have put in maybe 1,000 collectively. Broke asses lol.
This month's pick is Blaze, which is the "last book" written under his pseudonym Richard Bachman. Technically it was the last one published under that name, but according to King it was actually written before Carrie. The story goes that he presented both Blaze and 'Salem's Lot to the publisher at the same time and they only wanted to publish 'Salem's Lot. Therefore he threw this manuscript up in his attic and forgot about it. He remembered/found it years later and decided to publish it. I'm super glad this one has come up again, because when it was on 2018's list I never got around to it.
The premise follows Blaze, a mentally handicapped small-time con artist who kidnaps the baby of a wealthy family in hopes of fulfilling his best friend and partner in crimes' dreams. The only problem is that Blaze's partner is dead. Right? ;)
I couldn't find any info about any future adaptations of this coming out, but with how many of his books that have been adapted recently I wouldn't be surprised if we heard something about this very soon. I'm not mad about that. Give me all the King things!
