Delirity discussion

I noticed this didn't have a Movie and TV discussion but a lot of people here love the book. I went ahead and made one hope its okay.

I'm up to episode 5 and I think there are 8 I'm wondering how close are they going to follow the book. I've been spoiled and I know (view spoiler)[ Jammie gets all crazy and beats Clair, (hide spoiler)] I don't think a TV audience will go for that at all.

The Ending was so cruel now I have to wait until April. :'(

It was a good place to end though. =)

I wanted to cry like noooooooo! however the part in April will be continuing season 1 why they are waiting so long I don't understand.

Spoiler for the book I guess:

They say the next episodes will be Jammie punishing her and also that they are going to go with the rap part as well.

They commissioned 6 episodes to see how it'd go. They did good so they went back into filming.

I just got the first 8 episodes from my library and am surprised at how much I like this one. I tried the first book 3 times, never could get into it.

For those that read the book, does it follow closely?

Started watching the show. Immediately had to read the first book. Loving the show and reading the second book now.

I didn't care for the book but I really like the show. I read the first book again during the shows break and for over a month I've tried to read the second book but man is it boring. I hope the second season isn't boring like the book.

Right! I thought that i would take a break after book 2. lol haha no. Not even possible.

I hope so because I am getting there and it is still so boring! I can't believe it is taking me so long to read. I want to just give up but now I am so invested lol. Is the third slow and boring too?

I started 3 on a plane and then never finished. I put it down when I got where I was going and never did get back to it.

I am glad I'm not the only one who disliked the books...they were so slow! I read #1, the started on #2, but never finished. I suppose I should go back and give them another try, but eh.
