ƛƧƳԼƲM ƑƠƦ ƬӇЄ ƇƦƖMƖƝƛԼԼƳ ƖƝƧƛƝЄ {ˢᵉᵐᶦ⁻ᵃᵈᵛᵃᶰᶜᵉᵈ ʳᵒᶫᵉᵖᶫᵃʸ} discussion

The guards get fed well. Eggs, bacon... Much like a college cafeteria. They skimp around prices, and you should always avoid the potato salad, but it's generally edible, for the most part.

Zaaiel led her into the Cafeteria, glancing around and was glad they'd followed his instructions and left the room. He glanced at Amethyst then, gesturing for the girl to follow him as he went and quickly bought two trays of food. It had simple stuff on them, an apple, milk, a piece of toast and some eggs. Bacon was additional cost. "This good?" he asked.

Amethyst watched as zaaiel put some food on her tray that she had eaten a long time ago. She looked back at him and nodded slightly but was pretty sure she wasn't going to eat most of it.

Zaaiel nodded, carrying both trays to a table and set them down. He didn't sit down though, only looked at her, waiting for her to sit first. His mother raised him to be a perfect gentleman. Well, the constant slaps from Delilah was enough to get him to smarten up. He froze, eyes growing dark as he slipped slowly into his depression.

Amethyst followed him to a table and stood still once they got to one. She held her teddy bear to her chest and looked up at at him tilting her head. Amethyst looked at his eyes and they seemed sad so she walked closer to examine them. "Sad...why?......" She asked.

Zaaiel looked away from her at her question, feeling the weight of it on him. "It's nothing," he murmured, "let's just eat," he said, trying to shove it aside and focus on his job. He pulled out a chair for her to sit on before moving to pull out one for himself.

She looked around in the cafeteria and down at the chair shaking her head and backed away. "No. No no no no no no." Amethyst said holding her teddy bear tighter and tighter and shook her head some more.

Zaaiel paused and looked at her, slowly headed over to her, "hay, Amethyst, what's wrong?" he asked, concerned and unsure what was up. He just wanted to get some food in her stomach and if it meant having her eat in her room he will.

"F-food will make me sleepy.........then I'll be in a dark room................." Amethyst said trembling a bit. She was scared to try the food because everything else she ate there had no taste and looked weird. "I-i want to go back to my cell. Please take me back mister guard........" Amethyst said quietly and backed a way a bit more when he stood up.

Zaaiel frowned, "no it won't," he said in assurance. They wouldn't put drugs into the food the guards ate, for sure, but it was obvious she didn't believe him. He sighed a bit, knowing he couldn't take her back until she ate. "You don't have to eat Amethyst," he said softly, "can you sit on the chair and let me eat my food?" he asked her gently, he hadn't eaten today and it was starting to affect him.

Amethyst looked down at the chair and back up at him. "O-ok I'll sit.......as long as I dot eat......." She said and slowly sat down on the chair. Amethyst looked over at zaaiel and just starred. "Eat." She said as if she was the one giving orders.

Zaaiel nodded, relaxing slightly though his expression still seemed to lack the emotions that lingered in his eyes. He watched her sitting down before sitting down himself. He gave her a look when she gave him the order, shaking his head in slight amusement before he began eating his food.

She watched, well more like studied zaaiel with an worried expression making sure his head didn't hit the table after eating the food. After a couple of minutes of waiting him eat the food amethyst looked down at her plate and hugged her bear. She slowly reached out for a piece of anything withe her hand and put it in her mouth then started to chew.

Zaaiel ate his toast, feeling a bit uneasy with her stare but it didn't show at the slightest. He had the feeling she was waiting for him to pass out, it made him wonder if they put the medication into her food because she refused to take them. He was eating his eggs when she finally took a bite of her food and he caught it at the corner of his gaze.

Amethyst ate some more food but slowly. When she felt zaaiel staring at her she quickly stopped eating and hugged her teddy bear.

Zaaiel finished his food, sipping the milk and sat back in the chair. He glanced at her fully when he noticed her stop eating, "you don't have to worry," he assured her. He wondered if getting her a packaged bag of chips would help, something of the like at least, something packaged and unable to disturb to reassure her.

Amethyst looked down at the ground. "The f-food..............it's g-good..........." She said softly but didn't look back up at Zaaiel.

Zaaiel chuckled softly, his gaze still basically void of emotions, which would be unnerving if you didn't catch the small kind glint in his eyes. "I'm glad," he said honestly, "my mother's cooking is much better though, I should bring you some of her lasagna.." he mused, looking at her.

Amethyst gave a small smile. "I-I like lasagna......can w-w-we eat it in my cell.........?" She asked looking over at him. It was unusual how she was opening up to Zaaiel without any medication in her. Normally she wouldn't talk this much to anyone, especially not guards, nurses, or doctors. They all terrified her and made her close up. But Zaaiel, Zaaiel was different then the other guards. He made amethyst feel like she was just talking to another patient who really cared about her. "M-mister guard......? A-are you actually worried about m-me or.......are you j-just faking it?..........you're faking it aren't you? You don't c-care.....y-you just want me........want me to eat s-so th-the other guards won't bug you anymore.............faker..........that's what you are......" She said pushing her making her plate fall on the floor and hugged her teddy bear. "GO AWAY! GO AWAY IF YOU DONT CARE. YOURE JUST LIKE HIM!" She yelled.

Zaaiel smiled, "yeah, we can when I bring some," he assured, knowing she didn't like the people that being out of her cell involved. He pushed back a bit, sitting up in the chair before he looked at her, "yes Amethyst?" he asked. He listened to her stutter, eyes widening slightly when she shoved the plate and it hit the floor with a clang but kept his cool. It was his job, to keep calm and calm the patients, to help them. He didn't stand up, he stayed seated, knowing if he stood it would frighten her more and that was the last thing he wanted. "Amethyst," he said softly, "I'm not faking it," he informed her, just as softly as he'd done before, "I am worried, I do care if you eat or not," he stated, "I do want you to eat, but not only for that, but I want you to be healthy, and for you to not be continuously be bothered by guards," he informed her calmly. "If you want me to leave Amethyst, I will, but can I take you back to your cell first? I don't want anything bad happening to you," he said.

Amethyst looked over at him. "I-I'm sorry.....I didn't mean to yell.......I-i need m-m-my medication..........." She said softly. Her eyes were getting heavy and she was starting to slip out of her chair. This wasn't the first time this had happened. She had been a lot more violent before when she didn't take her medication and attacked another patient before. But she would always feel light headed after having an outburst which was dangerous because if she faints when she wakes up she won't take her medicine at all. "I-I feel light headed..I d-don't want medication................." She said her eyes looking really empty and soulless as she looked at a wall. "No no no no. Medication. No no no no." Amethyst muttered falling onto the floor .

Zaaiel nodded, getting slowly up from his chair, clicking the walkie on his belt, signaling what he needed. "Amethyst..." he drifted off, eyes widening for a moment at the look in her eyes and caught her before she fell. He lifted her into his arms, bridal style, and looked down at her as another guard, male, ran into the room with her medication. "Hay, stay awake for me Amethyst, can you do that? You need to take your meds, it'll make you feel better."

Amethyst heard his voice and slightly nodded but then gave a small frown when he mentioned medication. "No......no no no no no no..........doesnt work............Medication,......" She muttered her eyes slightly closing and opening. "I-I've been good............no no no no......." Amethyst said yawning and slightly moved in his arms trying to stay awake. "I want more......food.......I'm very hungry...." She said feeling her eyes starting to close with out noticing it. Amethyst was getting really sluggish and couldn't function very well then and felt herself drifting to sleep.

Zaaiel could barely comprehend her mumbling, frowning as he looked at the other guard, mouthing some words to him. He frowned, not liking the reply and by the time he'd heard the last word, Amethyst was passed out in his arms. He looked down at her, brows furrowed before he sighed. He asked the guard there to take care of the trays and food before he carried her out of the cafeteria and over back to her cell.
