This is a long hall near the doctor's area where the criminally insane wait for their drugs, protected by armed guards. They either take the medicine or its forced down their throat.

Ruvik was wondering the halls, he hadn't known where he was going on that he was going. He did however get some mean looks from some of the other patients. was it because he was different? Maybe cause he was rushed out of his other hospital and into this one? he didn't know...all he knew was that he didn't like them. to him, they were mean, cruel, vicious. Even though he was bruised and had been beaten to numbness he still felt a cold shiver cross over him when he saw their cold stares. He expected them to leave him alone, to not bug or pick on another patient. He didn't see it coming until he was on the floor being beaten again, this time by his peers...

((I am a mod and I only have one character, and it's just lightly stressed out girl who had to kill her BF to save her little sibling after he killed her parents and stuff, but just PTSD pretty much. Wanna?))

Max was one of the people that didn't have a problem with her meds. Most people argued and fought and hated their medicine, but she went for it without a problem. She had killed innocent people, and she deserved everything she got. Probably more. So as she walked over to the hall of meds and torture, she didn't have a pet guard to follow her. One eyebrow raised and she strode over to the group. Without a problem, she reached around and hauled the first one away by the back of his shirt. He whipped around to face her with a snarl, and everyone else turned to her. She simply folded her arms as she faced them. "I do believe that I told you to not mess with people again." She said flatly. As expected, she was ignored. Not a problem for her, as when they went after her all she did was punch the first guy in the throat. He hit the ground, and she looked to the next. She kicked the next one in the jaw and knocked him backwards, then she turned to the others. They scattered, and she looked down to Ruvik. "All in one piece?" She said emotionlessly.

Ruvik was shaking, curled up on the floor like a ball as he took the abuse, when it stopped he didn't move from his position. He held his head in his pale bony hands as he muttered under his breath with broken words, "Piece....p-piece....piece....piece....p-piece..."

With a sigh, Max leaned down to his level. Carefully she propped him up so he was leaning against the wall, holding him up with a hand on his shoulder. To get his attention, she snapped her fingers in front of his face a couple times. "Hey, they're gone. You're alright." She promised. Max wasn't exactly usually a warm and comforting person, but she tried. She did have practice, since rescuing people was in her job description. So she was surprisingly patient and gentle for her, at least. "Just slow down and tell me what you want to say." She coached, studying him.

Ruvik looked at her with large white eyes, his hands cradled to his chest as he waddled back and forth in his sitting position. He lowered his head only slightly since he still had to speak to her. He did however wonder if she would do the same to him...hurt him. He mumbled a bit before lifting his head to speak out to her, "Hurt....hurt....hurt....hurt....hurt..."

Max sighed. There had always been people that freaked out after everything, but she hated dealing with them. Still, she had always forced herself to stay calm and patient with them. Just as she did now. "I'm not going to hurt you. And they won't hurt you again. Just breath slowly, and relax. They're gone. They won't be back." She comforted as best as she could, studying him as she flipped her long dark brown braid back behind her shoulder again.

Ruvik nodded his head, his white hair bobbing alongside. He looked down the hall where the others left, he for once felt safe, felt happy to have someone on his side. At least...he hoped so. "safe...safe...safe...y-you'll...keep me safe...?" he asked as he looked up at her with blue eyes, rounded with dark circles.

Shifting positions with a slight sigh, Max nodded. She didn't really want to have to be babysitting someone, which was looking like what this would end up being. But... Maybe it would help her. Maybe having a goal, a specific person, would help her. It had always helped before, when she had a mission to do. Then she could throw all her concentration into it and work on it. "Sure. I'll keep you safe. Now, calm down and tell me your name? I'm Max."

Ruvik stared at her in slight confusion, he nodded his head at her. He opened his mouth, a small smile touching his lips as he waddled back and forth, his hands shaking in front of his chest. "Good...g-good...good...good..." he mumbled as he cocked his head to the side, looking at her.

"That is not a name." Max noted, raising an eyebrow at him. It was stating the obvious, but it was in her neutral tone. She was trying to keep him calm, and a soothing, regular voice was the best she could do. "You know my name. If I'm going to help you, I need some way to talk to you." She smiled slightly, shifting her weight so she was sitting cross-legged.

Ruvik watched her, he found her reactions quite confusing, even for him. He lowered his head down slightly though his body kept shaking. "Know...k-know...know...know...k-know....." He mumbled. He hadn't felt this weird in a long time, almost as if the world was angry with him.
