Some parts of the corridors are smothered in filth and others are pristine. This gives the halls an unstable appearance. Patients are always at gunpoint in the corridors unless they are attempting to escape.

Dermott was being walked to his new room by gunpoint. He walked without the need of someone holding him because what did they have to free from a guy who willingly gave himself up? As he walked down the corridor, his head was tilted to the ground, hands cuffed at his back and his hair covering his face. The creepy thing was, as he made his way, he was laughing. Not the insane laughter you could often hear, no, a low, dark chuckle that chilled and rattled bones.
Vee walked close to the wall, away from anyone that was passing by, as she made her way to her self. Her small feet hitting the ground with a soft thump. Everything was quite, of course until someone came in. Vees grey eyes moved up to watch the new comer and froze. From everything, such as the guards, the guns, the thing that scared her was the guy that was laughing. did he see me? Vee thought worriedly. She started to think he was laughing at her. She pulled on her sleeves to cover her hands as she started to get nervous.
Dermott continued to walk as he chuckled at whatever he found amusing, which in general was this situation. "You're going to have to let me out of these cuffs eventually..." he drawled, his voice no higher than a husky whisper. He didn't continue though, just chuckled again instead, implying many things. His chuckled stopped suddenly and so did his walking. His head tilted up just the slightest, just enough for him to peek through his black locks and looked directly at Vee. He smirked but his eye was narrowed on her, assessing her before he looked back down once he was nudged by one of the guards and told to get a move on.
(( sorry my mom took my phone away))Vees breath caught in her chest as he looked up to her. His cold eyes caught hers for a moment before she looked away, not able to keep eye contact for longer then a second. Her back presses against the wall to get away from him. he's laughing at you stupid, she heard the students tell her, or at less she thought their was students speaking. Vee was just hopping they didn't take off his handcuffs off.
He sees how ugly you are
Vee moved her hands to cover hear ears, as if to stop from hearing them. "Stop!" She shouts, her breathing quickening. "Leave me alone!"
why are you still alive
"Stop" she said softly as she started to cry and shake her head, having a panic attack.
((totally fine))
Dermott chuckled a bit more, shaking his head amused. Locked up with the crazies now, well insane in society's mind. Wasn't this exciting? People to meet and figure out. Seems like that girl hears something he doesn't. Dermott snickered slightly, smirking a bit as he looked down at the ground. After another nudge from a gun he snarled whipped around and kneed the guy in the gut. "Next time I'll be the one poking you with a gun," he hissed, spat in his face before he turned and continued walking like it never happened.

((Hey. My character and urs requested the same room. Do u know if we're aloud to start doing there or do we wait until they approve something. I thought that we could continue their))
((I don't know lol >~< I just joined so I'm not sure of all the technicalities... But yeah continuation there is the plan... Should we ask one of the mods?))
((xD I asked... I got a confusing response. : Make your own cell. :) I didn't really understand because what is the point of requesting a cell if... *shrugs* I hadn't gotten a reply to my confusion yet))
((..... So do we make it? God that is confusing. Why don't we see if it's made cuz like theirs these people that we share with them))
((I have no idea... Maybe we should just post in the cell? No one's in there.... *mind hurting* I just.. I don't think we can make cells... ~so overly confused~))
((Yah I checked it out and the last rpers r out... So I'll post here.. Like have guards take her and then maybe u post their? *whispers* I'm very confused))
((lol you're not alone, but let's go with that if we get yelled at we can just explain. So you post that one here and I'll go and post over there!))
This guy, who ever he was, seemed scary and at the moment she wanted to be away from him and the talking people that made fun of her. Her back slides down the wall, continuing to shake her head as she cried. She sat on the floor, shaking with fear. "Get away!" Loser!
Very quickly to of the guards come and pick her up by the arms. "Let me go! Stop!" She tries to kick free but they inject her with a shot and she she slowly stops, her body becoming numb. They then start to take her away.
Seza was giggling as she skipped on down the hallway, looking around. Gryphin was trailing behind her, watching her with his hands shoved in his pockets. He was silent as usual and soon Seza returned to his side, hugging his arm. "Do we have to go back to the cell?" she asked, looking up at him for his response. He shrugged, glancing at her.

Going out of her protected little cell was not the greatest thing for Skye. She despised it, actually. Which really didn't explain how she would suddenly find herself in the middle of everyone sometimes. But she knew that this had been her own choice- kind of. The staff kind of forced her to go to lunch today, though not in so many words.
But as of now she was almost frantically trying to retreat back to her room. As usual, her head was down, her steps quick as the sneakers lightly tapped over the halls. She stopped when she heard the giggling, but her room was down that corridor. And she had to get back to where there was no more people. Taking a huge breath, she started down that hallway, head down and staring at her shoes, desperately trying to avoid the pair's attention as best as she could.
With all of the other girl's wanderings it was hard for Skye to avoid her though, and she was forced to stop and hesitate, trying to time it right. So she took the first opportunity to to rush past, then instantly stopped before she ran into the guy, back-pedaling with an almost whimper, all with being to scared to look up at either of them, especially the male.

Seza grinned, "I'll take that as a no," she declared, happy. She didn't like the cell, it was all cold and dreary. She liked being out, seeing people, meeting people and making them smile. She released his arm though, knowing he had an issue with it but was very content that he put up with it for her. She paused, stopping herself from skipping forward when she heard a whimper and looked around. Gryphin on the other hand got ran into and froze, eyes wide and instead of looking like the big intimidating guy he was, he looked terrified and about to flip. Seza darted to Gryphin, grabbing his face to get his eyes to focus on her. "Hay, hay big guy, look here, it's okay, I've got you, you know we'll protect you," she soothed sweetly, "breath with me okay Gryph?" she said softly, moving his hand against her chest so he could feel the movement of her lungs. "Gryphin swallowed hard, trying to focus on her, trying to shove the memories aside and work on breathing calmly. After a few minutes of this, Gryphin calmed and Seza pulled away with a smile. They helped each other, it was how they worked. She then looked over to the girl that ran into Gryphin and went over to her. "You okay?" she asked sweetly, cocking her head to the side.
Skye backed away farther, only barely glancing up. She was smart enough to wait until it sounded like the boy was calmer, though her cheeks flared a brilliant, embarrassed red to have caused anything. When the girl said his name, 'Gryph,' she glanced up out of habit. And pretty much had a panic attack. She flinched away as Seza approached her, but for once her gaze wasn't fixed on the ground. It was fixed on his face. A single tear slowly started running down her cheek, and although she rarely spoke, this was a special case and so she did so despite the fact there was another person there. "....Gryphin?" She whispered, sounding helpless, hopeless, and heart-broken all at once. She didn't understand how it could be him, but looking at him she didn't see how it couldn't be. She edged fearfully away from Seza, and even back from Gryphin, though she didn't look away from him.
Seza stopped her approach immediately after the girl flinched, recognizing the signs of 'stay the fuck away from me'. She knew it off by heart with living in a mental institute for basically her whole life. She noticed she was looking at Gryphin who turned hesitantly towards them. She also noticed the tears and felt the urge to hug the woman, but knew better not to. She was shocked when she said her guard's name, and looked at Gryphin, knowing they knew each other and was looking between the two to figure out why.
Gryphin stared at the girl that had bumped into him, gaze almost impassive for a moment before it was claimed by an expression of shock and guilt. "Skye...?" he said in a low, very soft but masculine voice. He almost didn't recognize her, she'd gotten so much older... He then stiffened, realizing she was a patient, a patient at an asylum for criminals and all he could think was 'what had she done? Did she kill him?'

Skye stepped toward him slowly, looking almost hypnotized. She took two more slow, unsure steps before rushing forward and hugging him tightly, going from single tear to flat-out crying. "I-I thought... I-I didn't-" She stammered incoherently, tilting just her face up to look up at him. Then she shut up, biting her lip as she leaned against him, sniffling and trembling with sobs against him. "You're okay." She whispered against his coat at last, her grip only tightening. She didn't like touch, males, or just general people 99 percent of the time, but... This was her only brother. He'd always looked out for her, and he was definitely a special case.
Gryphin didn't notice her approaching, too busy just looking at her stunned.
Seza was off to the side, secretly squealing and doing a happy dance. It was so cute and she was able to watch every second of this, it was completely, adorably cliche!
Gryphin stiffened when she lunged forward, hugging him. It actually took a bit out of him to remain calm, but the mentally reminding himself that it was his sister helped him in the end to get over it and at the moment he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back. "I thought I had lost you forever," he whispered, his voice low and barely audible, but she was close enough to hear it perfectly. He stroked her back, his body slightly shaking a few time and a tear slipped free of his water brimmed eyes.

((Ohgod I can't keep it to myself anymore I'm too proud of it. So, look at the names I gave them. Skye, Audrey, Nicole, Eve. I named them that on purpose. *bounces up and down* it's great. The giant clue is in spoilers if you want to cheat. (view spoiler)))
"I thought you did too." Skye chuckled faintly, muffled against his clothing. Her grip on him only tightened. And for the first time in a long while, she relaxed completely. She trusted him, she always had and he'd never given her cause to doubt him. She rested her head against the front of his shoulder, and though there were still tears, she was actually understandable now. "I... I thought you'd get along better once you didn't have to waste time and effort looking out for me. But since you're in here..." She admitted, shaking her head, the dread already implied by her words and tone. "Are you okay?" Skye wasn't stupid. She knew something big must have happened for him to come across to this asylum. With her, it had been what she'd unknowingly done and her insanity, despite her not knowing about her DID. She just knew she didn't remember chunks of her life.

((totally cheated xD curiosity killed the cat.... ~totally got an idea~ hehe Sane...? eh? Doubting >~< ))
Gryphin swallowed hard, swallowing, no choking down the tears that wanted to come out but he couldn't do it here, not while he was at work. He continued to hold her tight, his grip shifting so it seemed like he was holding her in fear she'd disappear. "I-..." he drifted off, frowning as he closed his eyes, inhaling deeply, "I lost everything when you were taken... I didn't believe I had anything to live for," he murmured, admitting, "everything just went to hell," he muttered, shaking his head. He wasn't okay, he was fucked up, the only good things in his life was his adoptive mother, Seza and now Skye. He also knew though, some shit happened to her as well. He opened his eyes, looking at her, "are you?" he asked in return. He didn't know why she was here, but he had his suspicions he just didn't want them to be correct, well in a way he did as well as didn't. He didn't wish her to know the horror of murder, not like he knew.

((I was going to do insane, but... Each one is kind of like the different responses to trauma. Skye-fear, Audrey-ignore, Nicole-Acceptance/adaptation, Eve-Anger/vengeance. I couldn't think of two more lol. PLUS what's your idea?))
Biting her lip, Skye stared up at him with her intense blue eyes. "I... I don't know." She whispered, her voice dropping before she cleared her throat and tried again. "I... I don't remember. I just remember that he had some friends over, and I knew it was going to happen again, and... The next thing I remember was the blood- oh god, there was so much blood, all over everything. They were all dead, and the knife was in my hand, and I was covered in blood, and... And..." She started trembling again and closed her eyes tightly as if to block the image out, her grip on him tightening. They hadn't told her about her DID. She was completely clueless and scared as to what was happening to her. She remembered that it had started before she'd been taken away from Gryphin, the long patches of not remembering what she'd done, finding herself somewhere she knew she hadn't gone. She'd told him about a couple, but had stopped after just those. It was too embarrassing, and pointless.

((lol makes sense but it's brilliant, personally think so anyway lol. ah, just the thing 'curiosity kill the cat' thing, it's a good statement to base a history around.. >~< ))
Gryphin listened silently, going concerned but he'd heard this before, well something similar, experienced something similar as well but he knew his was different from her's since he completely remembered everything. He felt her beginning to tremble and held her close, stroking her back and kissed her head as he did when they were kids. "It's okay," he whispered, "I'm here now, everything's going to be okay," he assured, comforting his little sister. He remembered faintly her telling him that she woke up in different places but had no memory of it, but she stopped telling him so he just assumed that they stopped, well hoped it had. He continued holding her until she calmed before he stepped away, not wanting to stretch his touch limit, not wanting to freak out again. He shoved his hands into his pockets, looking at his sister, biting his lip to show his unease. He then looked over at Seza, who was still fangirling, before at his sister. "Skye... this is Seza.." he murmured, gesturing to her, "she's my charge."

"Promise?" Skye whispered, following his step away closely, though not exactly. She hovered close to his side but not quite touching, shying away when he introduced Seza. She spared Seza a glance before returning to staring down at her shoes, now partially hiding behind her brother, almost like a little kid. But if her brother was willing to trust this Seza, and obviously if she was to be with her brother she'd see a lot of this Seza, Skye silently swore to herself she would at least try to get along with her. She glanced up at her, nodding briefly before looking away again, staring down at her hands as she absently picked at her fingernails.
((I wanna knowwwww (view spoiler)))
((I wanna knowwwww (view spoiler)))
((I haven't even thought of it lol, though thinking it'll be a chick's history... hehe Oh? lol xD))
Gryphin nodded at his sister, "promise," he whispered softly. He glanced down at her, seeming impassive but Seza saw the softness, the affection in his gaze. Seza looked at Skye, smiling brightly, unfazed by her avoidance, she was used to it. "It's nice to meet you," Seza said brightly, hands clasped behind her back and rocking on her feet. "Gryph told me about what happened to with his past," she said bluntly, but softly, kindly as well. "I'm glad you two found each other," she said.
Gryphin looked at Seza and gave her a small smile in gratitude which she only beamed at him in return.
Seza then bounced up, clapping her hands excitedly, "have you been to the garden? It's beautiful!" she said brightly. She was a bit obsessed with the garden, but it was her favorite place here.
Gryphin shook his head a bit in amusement, "Seza, head to the cafeteria, we'll follow," he murmured lowly. Seza nodded, "okay!" she chirped and started skipping in that direction.
Gryphin of course did this, because since they were going to be around together he needed to warn Skye. "Skye," he whispered, looking at her, "I need you to know not to threaten or injury Seza," he told her. He frowned a bit, looking over at Seza's form at the end of the hall, patiently waiting for them as she waved to the patients and was talking to a guard.
"Or it won't be her anymore."

((Yassssssss.....))
Skye looked up for a split second to give a brief, reluctant smile to Seza before looking down again, flinching slightly as she explained that she knew what had happened. She frowned, staring up at him. She slid a half step back away from him, looking hurt. "Oh my god." She whispered, sounding horrified. "You believe them. I didn't do anything, I promise! I told you that, and you still think I did it?" She shook her head, biting her lip. Her voice dropped, barely over a whisper. "I told you, I don't hurt people."
Then she paused, shaking her head sharply. She blinked, her eyes narrowing and instantly becoming ice cold. "I do though." Eve smirked, shifting her weight back to survey him. "Ah, the darling brother the little bitch was always thinking about." She mused, and even her voice was frigid. She turned around, tilting her head to study Seza's retreating figure. "She'd be fun to play with. I could easily..." She reached down for the waistband of her pants, then cursed. "Damn. The others are always getting rid of my toys." She pouted mockingly.

((Thing is I put Seza's sexuality as Heterosexual >~< fudge, could probably change it if you do want to move forward with it, it would be very interesting.
one, fancy outline, there were so many words... >~< but I finally got a better outline for that idea!))
Gryphin looked over at her, confused a looking frightened. He wasn't the boy she used to know, he's broken even more, beyond repair. "Do what...?" he whispered, moving away from her, "I don't know what you're talking about," he rushed off lowly. He didn't meant to accuse her of hurting people, just wanted to warn her that doing anything that would be seen as hurting Seza would make Janus come out.
His eyes widened when she changed, a change he recognized instantly, a change that Seza would go through before becoming Janus. Luckily, since he knew that, he also wasn't confused nor unaware of the fact that the woman standing before him, cold as ice, was not his sister he looked after but a separated personality of her. He barely took in her words, moving away from her. It wasn't until she mentioned Seza when he tensed. "You won't touch her," he stated coldly, his voice still no louder than a whisper but his protective streak was coming out. With her last comment though made him well aware it wasn't just her nor Skye within her.

"Oh I wouldn't?" Eve challenged, her voice deadly. She bent over and fiddled with her shoe, yanking the bottom of it off and pulling out a knife. "There's almost nothing I wouldn't do." she smirked, stepping her foot back into the shoe bottom. To illustrate her point, she moved the knife down, holding out her own arm. Pulling back the sweatshirt sleeve, the revealed the numerous thin scars over her skin, obviously proof of what happened when Eve, who was clearly unbalanced all by herself, was in control. Without a blink or hesitation she lowered the blade, slicing her forearm vertically. Her gaze never left his as the scarlet blood welled up on the pale skin she shared with his sister, smirking. "Now. I've had lots of fun so far, but shall we see if we can get the other one you care about?" She laughed, turning down the hall. "Seza!" She called, hiding the knife in her palm.

((Definitely, lol I'll do it later >~< lol I'll sent you the spoiler of the character when I actually write it down xD))
Gryphin said nothing, because he couldn't hurt his sister, different personality or not. He stiffened seeing the knife, staring at it and unable to look away, his hands shaking. His eyes moved to her arm and they widened, feeling horror wash over him, because he could only think of the pain she would go through despite doing on purpose or having it done. He flinched when she cut herself, closing his eyes, no squeezing them closed cause all he could think of was the blood that surrounded him... He needed to get himself together, take the weapon like his job stated he should and cover the blood, some of the patients reacted horribly to it... Once she called Seza's name, he snapped out of it, eyes flying open because he remembered Seza was one of those patients. She was terrified of blood.
Seza being ignorant stopped and looked back, heading on back to them, not really seeing the knife until she was metres from them. She saw it, and then saw the blood and froze, eyes widening. Before Gryphin could react or do anything, Seza screamed, shaking as she stumbled away, breathing growing until she was hyperventilating. "It's so red!" she screamed, clenching her head as she backed away until she slid onto her knees still trembling. "GET IT AWAY FROM ME!" she screamed eye closing. She began twitching, and hunched over till her forehead was against the floor.
Gryphin then finally snatched the knife away from Eve, tucked it out of view but he couldn't touch her... he knew he couldn't so he couldn't do anything about the blood. He did turn to head over to Seza, knowing if he didn't do something, Janus would come out and then he'd have to deal with them both.

((1. Skyza (sky-zuh)? Sye (sigh)? Sezye (says-eye)? 2. I can't wait to see!))
Though many times fierce women are compared to cats, Eve was different. With her stalking, rangy movements, ferocity, and laughter, she had once been compared to a hyena. Which was almost scarier, seeing as how hyenas could take on lions and win, plus their bone-crushing jaws. "Oh what a little bitch." She addressed both of them, groaning mockingly despite her almost delighted tone. "It'd be fun to-"
But what she thought would be fun in this specific interest would have to remain a mystery. Her body twitched once, and she snarled as she bent over, shaking her head. Unlike Skye, Eve wad perfectly aware of the DID and when she was losing control. So she was more able to fight it. But still, Eve was only a fragment of Skye. Skye's personality won, as she was naturally the most dominant, simply because she was the original.
Skye shrieked in pain as she came back, clutching her arm. Tears ran down her face, and she instinctively started to back away from them, terror evident on her features. But she stopped as she saw Gryphin, suddenly remembering. Her gaze shot to Seza, first with primal fear, then with horror. Whatever was wrong with her, Skye knew she had done it when she was gone.
Despite being a kind soul despite herself, she would never have moved to help if it hadn't been for Gryphin. She remembered that he trusted this girl, and Skye trusted him. Besides, obviously Seza was in no condition to do anything. Blood had gone from gushing from her arm to oozing, so she pulled the thankfully black sleeve of her sweatshirt down and stared at Seza, biting her lip. Very, very tentatively she stepped forward before hesitantly making her way down toward her.
"I-" She started, then shook her head sharply and cleared her throat before trying again, very carefully kneeling down by Seza, though she was smart enough that she stayed back about two feet. "A-are you alright? I-I'm sorry if I hurt you. I just... I forget what I did, and I think for a bit I forget who I am." She said softly in her timid voice, looking down at her hands with shame and guilt.

((Ship names! Ermergerd! Skyza looks and sounds the best/weirdest, like it xD))
Gryphin stopped before he could get to Seza, looking at the monster that had taken hold of his sister. Despite the nastiness she was saying and the expression and look in her eyes... he couldn't come to feel anything negative towards her, because all he could see was the sister he failed to protect and what she'd become because of it. He flinched away from her when she began twitching, he suspected what was happening, though he wasn't used to it. Seza's was usually a smooth transition, a clear distinctive change of facial expression and emotion or she'd pass out but that was the few rare times...
He could still hear Seza shrieking and sobbing, and then roars of anger and shouts before reverting back. Janus wanted out, and she wanted blood.
His attention was focused on Skye though, mainly due to her sudden shriek of pain and tears. He was still too weary to go over to her and help her though, he just couldn't.... He was still shaking as he continued over to Seza, crouching down beside her and began stroking her back, not even needing to say words. Seza soon was just sobbing, trembling and sitting up a bit so she could rock as she hugged herself. Her terror didn't calm for a while, but Janus still calm once the girl apologized, meaning there wasn't a lot of things Seza had to fight against. She swallowed the lump in her throat, finally calming down and knew better than to look up, knowing the blood was still there, on the ground, taunting her. She shaking inhaled, straightening her spine but still hugged herself, leaning into Gryphin for support. "You didn't hurt me," she whispered softly, "just scared me..." she drifted off, sniffling. A totally Seza thing for her to do, comfort someone else and try to ease the situation with a smile.

((#ShipSkyza xD))
Skye bit her lip, glancing at Gryphin for an instant before her shoes again. "I... I'm really sorry. I just..." She shook her head miserably, silent tears still dripping slowly down her cheeks. She knew very well what it was like to be absolutely terrified of something most considered fairly normal. She shuddered as she remembered the feel of the brush going through her hair, the fear of anticipation building up like it always had.
But seeing her brother and Seza, she knew that it hadn't been her that had helped Seza. Just how much of a third wheel she really was was suddenly thrown into sharp contrast. Skye had been missing from her brother's life for years. It was natural he'd move on. Now, intelligent little Skye just saw herself as an intruder. It wasn't fair to just reappear into his life. He seemed like he had it as good as he'd be able to.
Skye had always known the responsibility of her been thrust on him. He'd already been almost nine when they even knew they were related. And Skye had always felt that she held him back. He had to take care of her, and so he couldn't concentrate on keeping himself safe. She was well aware of the sacrifices he made for her, and she couldn't just expect him to jump at the chance to make more.
Slowly she rose to her feet almost reluctantly, her hand over the sweatshirt right above her wicked slash, which she could already feel was going to scar. Just like the others. "I-I just..." Seeing as how she didn't speak much, she was not the most eloquent person. She left it at that, sharply shaking her head to herself and starting to back down the hallway, that guilty and shamed expression still on her face, only more obvious.

(( lol xD))
Gryphin looked at Seza, making sure he didn't see any signs of Janus making an appearance before looking at his sister as she spoke. He knew better than anyone that it wasn't his sister's fault, well the sister he knew, he looked after Seza so he knew better than anyone how someone would feel to experience this, well at least knew the signs and understood. "Skye," he said softly, calmly, but firmly, "it's not your fault, no one here blames you," he informed her quietly.
Seza had calmed down and reverted back to her normal self, keeping her gaze far away from where the whole blood thing entered the picture. She was calmed, well as calm as a hyper, childlike girl could be, and got to her feet with Gryphin's assistance. While this was happening Skye had stuttered before heading away from them. Once she was on her feet she looked over to address Skye but noticed her walking away at the same time Gryphin did. Gryphin though looked pained, staring at her with a clear expression of his anguish. Seza rolled her eyes, giggling and skipped over to walk beside the other girl, Gryphin, after hesitation followed after them. "Are you okay?" she asked her in a chirp, moving the walk backwards in front of Skye, "your arm has to be hurting... should we take you to a nurse?" she asked, eyes wide with worry as the thought about her injury, course not thinking of the injury itself in too much detail.
Gryphin was walking behind them at this point, hands shoved in his pockets and mentally pondering what he'd done, what he could of done... tormenting himself with 'what ifs'.

"I don't know what's happening to me!" Skye appealed to her brother, covering her face with her hands as she glanced back at him. All she knew was that she'd black out and wake up to have hurt someone, and/or herself. "But people around me end up getting hurt. It's not fair..." But she didn't say if it wasn't fair to them, or to herself. She started walking again, hunching her shoulders up.
Only to squeak and jump at the other girl's abrupt appearance in front of her, but other than that didn't show her fear. She just kept up her mental chant: Gryphin trusts her. Griphin trusts her. Gryphin trusts her. Griphin trusts her. "I-I don't like people." She shrugged in her quiet way, biting her lip lightly. "I-it happens a lot." She admitted, frowning. "I just don't remember what happens. All I know is I wake up and..." She whimpered slightly, a shudder running through her.
Suddenly aware that Seza knew her name but had never really been introduced, Skye blurted out, "I'm Skye." After a moment she added, "Gryphin's my brother." as an explanation. Her cheeks flared bright red suddenly, and she resumed her almost perpetual habit of staring down at her shoes.
