Here is the private cafeteria for the ward. The servers serve the patients their foods. The patients have no choice in the foods or the amounts thereof that they receive. The furniture is all white and rickety, and the floors are meant to be white but a layer of grime prevents it.

Seza gave him a soft smile, lightly bumping him with her hip before she skipped to the other side of the table, plopping down on her knees on the chair. Gryphin didn't sit at first, just looked around with unease. He didn't like crowds either, people in general, Seza and Skye were the only two people he could bare, could tolerate in this whole place and outside it was just Coraline. He shook his head, looking at them and took a seat. Both Gryph and Seza jumped when Skye did and created the squeak. Seza looked at the girl worried, oddly a smile still gently on her lips. "I'm going to get the food, I'll be right back," she murmured before she hopped to her feet and darted off...."

Skye lifted her gaze to watch as Seza walked away, before letting it drop back down to her brother. "I... Sorry." She muttered miserably, ducking her head down. She shifted her position, pulling her legs up to sit cross-legged on the chair, hands in her lap and back hard against the wall. "It's just...." She shook her head, flinching again at another loud sound. Her voice was barely above a whisper as she spoke again, "People." She said simply with a slight shudder, knowing that was enough of an explanation for her brother, who'd been through it too.

Gryphin nodded, "I understand," he murmured lowly, looking around. He knew what she meant, he didn't like people, he only got this far in life with many difficulties and Coraline by his side supporting him. He was glad how it turned out though, he didn't have much duties with people besides looking after Seza since she was highly unpredictable. He looked back at his sister, "I mostly tune them out," he admitted, a technique he'd learned a while back cause he was just as skittish as her at one point. But she'd been caught up in shorter time than he had since he'd gotten out. This place didn't have as many people in it though, compared to the common cafeteria so it wasn't too bad.

"I haven't had the chance to get used to it. This month is the only time I've been out of the house since... Well, since I last saw you." Skye shrugged, looking down at her hands. It was only now she truly realized that'd she'd never seen anything. She was 23 years old, and she'd only been to the original slave house, her father's house, and the two asylums in her life. When she was younger she'd always wanted to see more of the world. She'd always hoped there was something besides what they went through, but now it was almost worse. Because now she knew there was so much more, but she would never get to see it. 

Gryphin nodded, having been right about her being her for a short time, hell being out of whatever monster's grasp that had held her captive for this long. He still to this day didn't know who, that information had never been given to him he just tried everything he could to stop it... He knew she didn't need to say anything more, that she had explained the basics of what happened to her and knew it was too soon for her to retell them in detail. He guessed he should probably tell her what occurred after she left... why he was here.. "I got out when I was 17," he murmured, looking down at the table, knowing he had to tell his sister, "I killed them all," he whispered, gripping the table tightly, "every single one of them there that day... I thought I'd be dead too but the cops came and I woke up in the hospital," he told her softly, glancing at her to see how she took in this amount of information. He didn't want to tell her the details of why he snapped, what they did to make him nearly die.

Skye had known her brother well. And he had never really been a violent person-- around her at least. So she knew instantly that to make him snap like that, it must have been really bad. So she didn't pry. She simply stretched a hand across the table, taking one of his in her's and squeezing gently to reassure him. "They didn't deserve mercy." She said simply. Being nonviolent herself she would have preferred a trial, but she wasn't exactly sad about this development.
Because he had told her his, Slye knew she had to fess up. Her grip on his hand tensed as she started to speak again, "Gryphin? Remember towards the beginning, where it was one guy that won all the bids for me?" she began timidly. "It was the same guy who ended up buying me. Gryphin, it..." She trailed off, biting her lip hard before finally forcing a continuation conclusion. "I-it was the guy that claimed us as his kids." She almost whispered. "Our... Our dad did it all."

Gryphin relaxed, releasing the table and intertwined their fingers, grasping it tightly. He shook his head frowning a bit, "the kids there did," he whispered, "the ones like us... I killed them too," he muttered, looking down at his lap in shame. He knew the kids would have a hard life, but some had families to return to, not all barely any actual were born into that life like they were. He wreaked, no ruined their chances of going home and having a life.
He looked at her when she began speaking again, his gaze morphing into one of concern. He nodded, stating he remembered. He stiffened and froze when she admitted who had taken her. "It was him?" he asked, looking shocked and then angry. What sick son of a bitch would buy his own daughter and rape her? It was sick, disgusting and... he couldn't believe he let that happen, that their father was that disgusting. "I'm sorry," he whispered, "I should have done something...." he murmured squeezing her hand. He wasn't good a comforting words or actions but he tried, wanting to be there for her from now on, even if her other personality didn't seem to want it.

"Stop." Skye pleaded, her grip on his hand tightening slightly. She ran her thumb gently over the back of his hand in a calming gesture, absently drawing small designs with her thumb to try and distract him. And herself, really. "It's not your fault." She promised. "Besides, he's dead and gone. And I didn't even think of our relation. After all, he never raised us." She lied, using the truth as evidence. He hadn't raised them, but that didn't mean that Skye had ever forgotten he was their father. He wasn't exactly keen on letting her forget anyway. Skye moved up her other hand, covering their clasped together ones. "It's alright. It's done. You did everything you could, and don't you dare blame yourself." She said, surprisingly fierce for her. "I love you, Gryphin." She said firmly, her fear out the window for now as she tried to comfort her brother. Meeting his gaze, she stared at him with her own brilliant blue. "You remember that, right? Always remember that."

Gryphin looked at her, giving her a very small, very weary smile that stated he wasn't convinced. He was glad that bastard was dead and gone though, even if it meant that.. she most likely had done it... well that personality of her at least by his suspicions. No one really raised them, they were brought up in hell. He gently squeezed her hand since his own grip had gone slack. His throat locked up and mouth went dry, eyes stinging as well. He smiled at her, a soft grateful smile. "I'll remember," he said, "you know I love you too...?" he murmured softly. He wasn't there for her then, but he would be for her now, always.
Seza came in then, teary eye. She was so eavesdropping and put down the trays. "I wish I had a sibling," she murmured, wiping her eyes. She was so depressed from what had happened to Skye, Janus understanding the fucked up father bit all too well, and saddened once again from tidbits from Gryphin's already shared past with her. She looked at Skye, "I'm sorry... I shouldn't have been eavesdropping," she apologized, hiccuping a bit in attempt to stop herself from crying. Seza was an emotional person.

"Never doubted." Skye smiled, jumping slightly at Seza's sudden appearance. She relaxed quickly though-- well, as much as she ever did in crowded, public places. Which was not much. Skye pulled back one hand from Gryphin, though her other stayed tucked in his. Her newly freed one went out and lightly rested on Seza's shoulder. "It's alright." She smiled slightly, letting her hand slide down and off. "It's human nature to be curious. Part of the survival instinct that kept great great great great plus a few ore greats ancestors alive." She shrugged. As usual, she didn't even stammer or sound afraid when she was spilling the scientific fact.
Knowledge and facts had always been her constant safe-guards, and by now she knew hundreds of random tidbits of knowledge no normal person would. It had always helped calm her down, as they were something concrete to hold onto.

Gryphin returned her smile before looking at Seza, who didn't jump at her sudden appearance, course he was used to it. Seza was a jumpy, hyper and unpredictable person, though he was fine with it.
He was happy that they kept their hands locked, made him feel better and content that they could, will be able to move forward.
Seza on the other froze, not in a bad way but in a 'I'm trying my best to contain my freak out' freeze. Seza felt incredible honoured to have Skye's hand on her shoulder, instantly cheering up and beamed at the girl. "Thank you," she said brightly, before she leaned forward on the table, listening to her with great interest. An old lady at the mental institute she grew up in, she liked telling her random facts, Seza loved listening to her and luckily the older woman loved talking. "A survival instinct?" she mused, tapping her chin before giggling, nodding, "I like the sound of that."

"A lot of things are survival instinct. Most fears, for instance. The most common example, Arachnaphobia, is because ancestors had to deal with those things more often. Thats why those and other natural things, like tigers, are a source of much more fear than something like an SUV or an electrical outlet, despite the fact that those are much more common." Skye explained brightly, actually seeming quite interested in something she was saying for once. She didn't seem afraid at this point, too engrossed in her topic.
"One that's probably much more common here is the classic fear response. Fight or Flight. When something scares us our breathing speeds up, heart beats faster, and you tense your muscles. Fear usually used to translate to danger. Animal instinct. You're going to either run away from the source of the fear, AKA perceived danger, or fight it." She explained simply.
After a moment she stopped, cheeks flaring. "Sorry. I ramble knowledge sometimes." She admitted, her voice back to it's soft and fearful hesitation.

Seza was engrossed, listening to her, her chin resting on her hands which were propped up by her elbows against the table. Despite being a loud hyper person, Seza did have a knack for shutting up and listening, putting her full attention on someone. She was silently listened, intrigued and happy that Skye didn't seem so hesitant and scared as she relayed this information.
Gryphin sat silently as well, looking at his sister, a glint of pride in his eyes but it was a small glint that only some would be able to recognize.
Seza thought about what she said, wondering if she was a more flight or fight girl. She deduced that it depended on the situations... like with the red stuff that come from people, she was flight in fear instead of 'fight' and face her fear. Seza focused on Skye once again and giggled, shaking her head and waved slightly, "it's totally fine," she assured, "I knew an older lady in the mental institute, she talked to me all the time about random facts, some told to her by her ghost friends," she told her brightly, giving the first indication of how her past was like.

"Which brings us to our next point. You said we'd all be able to sit down and learn about each other. Your turn." Skye pushed gently, looking as innocently intrigued as she had when she was rambling her facts. She leaned against the wall beside her with her shoulder, but all of her attention was focused on Seza.

Seza blushed a bit, sitting up and fanned her face giggling. "Well..." she murmured and looked at Gryphin for assistance. He looked away from his sister to Seza, shrugged, "from the start," he murmured, might as well, it would make more sense. Seza nodded, grinning before turning back to Skye, since Gryph already knew her past. Though she didn't see the big deal about it. "Well, I lived with my parents for the first few years of my life, they were very nice and... well I think they were rich," she mused, tapping her chin. She then nodded, "yeah they were! Anyway, they started taking me to funny places to talk to strange people a few years later, I heard them whispering that I wasn't normal..." she shrugged, smiling. "Eventually... I forget how old I was... they sent me to this really weird place with many different people," she informed Skye, "I learned it was a mental institute," she explained, and I lived there for many years. I liked it there, everyone wasn't always nice but I made a lot of friends and people were nice," she said with a nod. She then paused, brows furrowing a bit, "then, I'd just turned 18 I think when they said I could go back home... no one liked me there... my parents didn't either.. I pretended everything was okay though, Janus didn't like anyone though," she mused, looking at Gryphin... "I don't remember why I ended up here," she admitted, looking at Skye with a soft smile and giggled, "there must be something wrong with me though, no one's really said anything about it but I know..." She ended with a clap, "that's basically my past..."
Gryphin knew she didn't mention things because some she didn't even know. He knew more about Seza's past than Seza knew, mainly because he'd gotten Janus to speak to him.

Tilting her head slightly as she listened, Skye absorbed the facts curiously. "I guess none of us have had it easy." She mused, staring down at where her hand held her brother's. She lapsed into a thoughtful silence for a long moment before shaking her head abruptly, startling herself back into falling to reality. "One question though. How are you still so... happy and friendly?"

Seza shrugged, "the scars of the past make you who you are. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger," she pointed out, smiling. Gryphin chuckled, knowing they all went through shit, and he'd probably tell Skye more if she asked him. He knew they had it tough for different reasons and she had it tough for others.
Seza was nibbling on a bun on her tray when she asked the question and looked at Skye, swallowed before she answered. "There was many people that cared about me," she stated, "I grew up not in the best of places but living there makes one realize what you have where others don't..." she drifted off, looking thoughtful, "I guess, it's because everything's darker when everyone's sad... and if you can make a few people smile, even for stupid little moments.. it makes everything a lot better," she stated with a nod, "like I said... the past is what makes us, us," she said softly, "you can have it haunt you or make you stronger. I want to view everyone and everything as optimistically as I can."

Skye had a rather bad habit of chewing on her lip or nails when she was thinking hard or nervous, and she was completely aware of this annoying little quirk. To try and counter this, she reached over and stole a French Fry off of Seza's tray, eating it tiny bite by tiny bite. "People react to trauma different ways. Overcompensation, anger, compensation, or fear are the most common ones." She blurted out. Another fact, one that had much more pertinence to the topic at hand than most of her facts usually did.
Once she had calmed herself down with the fact, she gave a tiny smile. "I've only known you for less than an hour, and... well, your insistent cheer makes everything seem... less serious and less intimidating." She mused.

Seza went back to nibbling on the bun after speaking, she may seem like a silly blonde but she wasn't an idiot just sometimes a bit naive and innocent. Seza nodded, figuring out what the words she said meant at first, well the longer ones and then nodded her understanding.
Gryphin frowned a bit, beginning to eat some food on his own tray Seza got for him, his was fear, he knew that, and he knew Seza forget her's, she put it in a box within her mind and locked it with a pretty little bow.
Seza watched Skye curiously continuing to nibble and she swallowed before giggling. "I try," she said with a bright smile, before finishing off the bun.

Skye may not have liked people, but that was kind of a help sometimes. She was usually able to judge reactions with unbiased, scholarly eyes. She would be willing to bet she had an ok read on the two of them as to which they were, she figured as she simply sat in silence and regarded the two. 
Gryphin, judging by his reaction to touch and his quietness, was fear. Like Skye herself, who had no problem admitting her reaction category was flat-out terror. Seza's sweetness and friendly attitude told another story though. In Skye's opinion, Seza was overcompensation, trying to be as friendly as she could to forget what had happened, or to make sure no one else had to go through it too. 

Seza was giggling, nudging him playfully as she grinned at him. She made a weird face, childishly before she went to eating her meal, staying silent for the most part as she ate contently. She liked being in their company, they may be quiet but she never minded such things she just felt at ease in their presence.
Gryphin shook his head a bit, looking at Seza, raising a brow before snorting and looked over at Skye. He looked at her curiously, "sure you aren't hungry?" he asked softly, haven't have touched his soup yet. Seza knew he didn't like anything too filling for lunch, Carline grilled it in his head that in effect it would spoil his appetite for later.

Skye jumped as he addressed her, obviously startled and scared. She'd been so deep in thought she hadn't been paying much attention, and her first instinct was to cower backwards, biting her lip. After an instant where she remembered she wasn't with Him anymore, and that it was just Gryphin, she relaxed visibly. "S-Sorry." She blushed, looking down. "And I'm ok. I'm... I'm not really used to eating a lot." she admitted, gradually looking up and meeting his gaze plaintively. 

Gryphin didn't react most would of their sister cowered away from them. He understood, he still felt the hurt from it, but it was mainly sorrow and guilt with his understanding. He was, is the same way. He freaks out if someone just brushes by him and it's not Seza. He shook his head slightly, "don't apologize," he murmured and gave her a tight lipped smile. He nodded, "if you say so," he stated, not going to push her, he wasn't the type to as well as he just knew why without needing to ask, they'd been in the same place. He then gave her a reassuring look before he went to eating his soup quickly.
Seza had nearly finished her tray, bouncing with built up energy. The woman was fuelling and the exercising she'd done earlier was completely useless now. She swallowed and yipped, "Skye, I met a guy today!" she informed her brightly, "he was really nice and played with me too! You saw me jumping rope with him right Gryph?" she asked beaming. "I had lots of fun! He was nice, I think it would be like that to have a brother," she murmured with a nod before she happily went back to eating.

Switching her gaze to Seza, Skye listened patiently. If there was some thing she was excellent at, it was listening and patience. "Do you like him?" She asked with her innocent curiosity. "I don't like guys. They're worse than just the average person." She sighed slightly.

Seza giggled, "of course!" she chirped, her mind instantly thinking she meant as a friend. Seza wasn't picky when it came to friends, but those who she felt like were her siblings or just very close friends, they were people she trusted and liked being around all the time. Like Gryph! Seza smiled at her, understanding why she disliked them, "that's okay," she said, "as long as you have your brother right?" she asked brightly, giggling.

Skye smiled slightly, though she relaxed a bit when Seza added the last part. Obviously, Seza didn't take it that way. Then Skye had to examine herself for her ow reaction. The fact that that was how she had taken it had relieve Skye terrified her. She didn't understand crushes, or anything like that. After a moment of self-doubt and panic, she hit upon what must be the answer and relaxed. Seza was sweet, and Skye knew males were not. She just didn't want someone sweet and innocent like Seza to be hurt. That must be it.

Seza giggled, beaming at her before lifting up a fry from her tray and offered it to Skye. "Don't think too hard," she said sweetly. Once Skye took the fry, Seza returned to contently eating her meal until she finished, about the same time Gryphin finished actually. Once they had, Gryphin got up without a word, gathered the trays and headed to put them away, leaving Skye with Seza. Seza shifted on the seat, feeling too bubbly and hyper now that she reenergized. She was a person to be oblivious to many things, mainly things concerning herself, especially herself. Janus took care of her, recognized that kind of stuff. Seza, focus, Janus growled in Seza's mind, in a sense. Seza's two different personalities were complex, for the most part, Janus spoke out loud, but other times she was just a voice in Seza's head, it was particular. Seza stopped, confused. Why did she need to stop, and stop what?

Skye lifted her gaze to watch her brother walk away, tracking his form with her gaze until he vanished among people. Of course, that meant she was looking that way. Coincidentally she accidentally met the gaze of a tall, muscular looking man who was looking over at the pair of girls. She jumped and flinched backwards, looking down at her hands, not even looking up as his grating, mocking laugh reached her ears.

Seza stopped upon seeing Skye flinched, ignoring Janus as she climbed over the table, slowly and said down beside Skye. "Hay, it's okay," she said softly, looking at Skye worryingly. "Do you need a hug?" she asked softly, wanting to distract her from whatever was bothering her. Skye was Gryph's sister, someone Seza was very close with and loved like her own sibling. She felt protective over Skye just as she did Gryphin. She just wanted to help Skye, even if it meant smiling, being silly and doing stupid things to make her laugh. She then made a vow to do that, to make Skye laugh.

Skye watched Seza's progress anxiously, her wide blue eyes following unblinkingly. She studied her intently, looking shocked that someone would ask for something so simple as that. No one asked Skye's permission, even to do a lot worse. She bit her lip lightly, still staring at Seza, and slowly nodded, though definitely hesitantly.

Seza waited patiently for her to make up her mind, her smile still bright and her expression sweet, kind and understanding. Seza was just really something, one of a kind. She smiled even brighter, if it was possible when Skye nodded. She giggled happily but moved in a slower pace to scoot closer and wrapped her arms around her. Her pace was slow, waiting to jump away if it got too much for Skye before long though Seza was hugging the other girl.

Skye tensed up instantly when Seza touched her, but she had kind of asked for this. Or at least approved it. She bit her lip, easing out a slow, calming breath and silently chanting facts in her head. The first known contraceptive was crocodile dung, used by Egyptians in 2000 B.C. President Kennedy was the fastest random speaker in the world with upwards of 350 words per minute. Karoke means "empty orchestra" in Japanese. The word "lethologica" describes the state of not being able to remember the word you want. The king of hearts is the only king without a mustache. After a minute, she didn't need the facts anymore. She wasn't going to just return the hug after being terrified of touch for so long, but she relaxed completely, instinctively shifting closer to the other girl.

Seza kept her hug loose, feeling her tense around her arms. She was waiting for the sign that said back away from me right now. She had many experiences like this, one being Gryphin, who was just as tense as she was at one point before he cooled and warmed up to her. A nurse at the mental institute once told Seza that her hugs were magical. Seza wasn't too sure, but she definitely wanted to believe they were. What surprised Seza was that the other girl relaxed and moved closer instead of freak out and move away. This made her smile widely, her grip getting slightly more tighter as she hugged the other girl. "I guess my hugs are magical," she whispered, giggling softly.

One of Skye's eyebrows rose in surprise and slight confusion at Seza's words, but she didn't deny it. "I guess they are." She murmured softly, shaking her head slightly in shock. It was still weird to be held this close to someone, and not feel that all-consuming fear and pain. It wasn't bad by any means though. It was kind of... nice to be close to someone, and know they cared about you.

Seza pulled her head back to look at Skye, smiling her usual beaming smile up at her. She giggled, nodding, "they are," she said, as if there wasn't a doubt. She continued to hug the other girl, she liked it, hugging her of course, she felt insanely happy that she allowed Seza to do this in the first place and continue for this long. Seza was definitely proud.
Gryphin returned to their table to see them hugging, stopped momentary in surprise before he continued until he sat down across from them, smiling slightly.

Though she was quite content to stay being hugged for the rest of the day, Skye very gently extricated herself from the hug and looked over at her brother, blushing. She didn't move away from Seza though, simply shifted in her seat. It was her brother, and she loved and trusted him. But everyone feared being judged for something.

Seza giggled, noticing her moved out of the hug, Seza immediately slid her hands away, smiling at her reassuringly before she turned and yelped. She hadn't noticed Gryphin returning and was surprised at his sudden appearance. Seza burst into a fit of laughter at her silliness.
Gryphin only smiled softly at his sister before looking at Seza and chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. That girl was surely something, he just really hoped that nothing else happened today to make Janus come out and break someone else's nose.

Skye smiled slightly, blushing as she looked over at her brother. She gave her little wave, ducking her head and looking down as she chewed lightly on her lower lip. She wasn't sure why she was so embarrassed about it. It bothered her that it did, but she couldn't explain why it did.

Gryphin gave her a smile and a slight wave in return, wondering what was going through his sister's head. He then looked at Seza, "I got called," he murmured softly, "I need speak to the head guard, I'll be back soon," he muttered and looked around. "If you leave, head to your cell, don't stop to mingle," he instructed before looking at Skye. "You two can look after each other until I get back, right?" he asked as he began standing up.
Seza saluted him with a beaming smile, "Aye aye Captain Harte!"

Skye's gaze widened as she looked up at him, panic and fear evident in her blue eyes. You had to remember, Skye hadn't seen her brother in years. And the last time she had, she was taken away. Seeing him reminded her of all of that, and it only made her want to stay with him, even more than she already would have after the long years. She glanced at Seza almost pleadingly before looking back to her brother, biting her lip hard. 

Seza looked at Skye noticing her panic and fear. She understood what was going on to make her feel that way, personally didn't understand but she knew why Skye was reacting this way. Seza hesitated for a moment before she place a her hand on Skye's arm, a feather light touch. "It's okay," Seza said soothingly, smiling at her, "he'll come back, he always does," she promised her, "and I'll be right here with you!" Seza wasn't sure if that last bit comforted Skye but she attempted it anyway.
Gryphin nodded, "I'll be back," he promised softly before he turned and left the cafeteria quickly, wanting to get it over with quickly.

At the touch Skye turned quickly to face Seza, but it wasn't a scared reaction, just a startled one. She gave a tiny nod in return, but it was Gryphin her distressed gaze was trained on until he walked from her view. Then she turned back to Seza, biting her lip. "He always comes back?" She pressed worriedly. "And you promise you'll stay with me?" She almost pleaded.

Seza gave her a reassuring smile, sliding her hand in Skye's and intertwined their fingers. She beamed at the other girl, "always," she chirped, "he's like a fly you can't get rid of," she said, giggling. She then nodded, "I promise Skye," she stated, "we promise, we won't leave you," she said, gently squeezing her hand. "The buddy system best works when you're holding hands," she informed her. Seza looked around before back at Skye, "want to leave now?" she asked.

"Alright." Skye said slowly, nodding. She trusted Seza when she said that they wouldn't leave her. By now she knew they wouldn't on purpose. But Gryphin had promised her that before, and circumstances had taken it out of his range. She was scared of something like that happening here, though she knew it wouldn't be the exact same situation. She squeezed Seza's hand in return, biting her lip. "Ok." She agreed. "Let's go..."

Seza beamed at her, giggling and got up from her seat, "awesome!" she chirped, still holding her hand as she waited for her to do the same. Seza was excited, she hadn't really seem many people in and out of her cell, her sleeping arrangements were kinda screwy so she was always passed out cold from her meds when others gathered and kept out of the room if she wasn't sleeping. So this was hopefully was going to be fun and she'd have to ask Gryph if he could get them a game to play maybe!

Still chewing on her lower lip, Skye accepted the outstretched hand provided by Seza. She unfolded her legs to clamber up from the chair, and squeeze out between the chairs and table. Standing next to Seza, she still looked scared, hovering close to the other girl and gripping her hand tightly. There were all these people, and now she was among them. Even just sitting down to the side where they had been had brought her out of the main flow of people. But now she was directly in the middle of them, and that was not ok by her.

Seza helped her to her feet, smiling as usual, the soft bright smile that often lit her face. She noticed how frightened she was and lightly hugged her for a moment, "it's okay, just focus on me okay?" she said lightly, "do you know any songs?" she asked Skye softly, wanting to get her mind off the people as she led Skye through the cafeteria, avoiding the more populated areas and towards the door, though it wasn't at an entirely too quick pace.
Seza was looking at Skye the whole time that she didn't even noticed someone in front of her that she walked right into. She stumbled back, her grip on Skye's hand loosening but did not break. She looked at the person she bumped into with wide eyes, "I'm so sorry!" she cried, looking up at the very tall, intimidating man whose eyes blazed with fury. Before she could say or do anything else, the man, the patient brought a hand up and backhanded her across her cheek. Seza's head whipped to the side, eyes wide before something seemed to snap within her and Seza's expression grew dark, her eyes narrowed and their gaze hardened. Everything that made Seza, Seza was gone in an instant and replaced by something... someone else.
Seza, at least the person who looked like Seza, growled and spat blood from her lip to the floor in front of Skye. The hand holding Skye's was snatched away and used to wipe her mouth before she turned her head to the man who looked about to slap Seza again. This time though, Seza caught his hand and laughed, "you're dead," she cooed darkly and snapped his wrist as if it were a twig. The sound echoed in the now quieted room, everyone looking over, staring in shock, some in horror, others looked at the guards in fear.
Not a moment later, the man who'd slapped Seza began to scream in agony.

Skye's terrified gaze sought Seza's as she struggle to control her breathing, swallowing hard. "I didn't get to listen to music a lot." She said softly, though almost frantically, desperately trying to help Seza distract her. "But there was this one, not really a song, it was called 'No Anchovies Please' and it-" 
She cut herself off as they bumped into someone, whimpering as she flinched backwards, cowering toward Seza. When the man slapped her she finally found her voice, instinctively crying out, "Seza!!" in shock and horror without even really thinking about it. She whimpered again as she snatched her hand away, watching fearfully. When Seza snapped his wrist Skye gasped and began to cry softly, shaking her head as she stumbled backwards. Of course, being her, she ended up running right into someone else. The man smirked at her, wrapping a hand around her waist and refusing to let go. 
Skye didn't really understand why Seza had suddenly changed. She knew about DID, despite not knowing she herself had it. But it wasn't he first thing she thought of, even in a situation like this. She squirmed at first but when the man's grip tightened she fell still, limp and trembling. "Seza. Seza please." She sobbed, meeting Seza's gaze with her terrified one.

Seza didn't get the chance to comfort her, to distract her because Seza wasn't with them anymore, no Janus was and Janus was livid.
Janus' lip curled in sick satisfaction hearing the man's cry of agony, intensifying it by bending it even more, before she suddenly pulled him forward and kicked him hard in the stomach, with enough force to knock him off his feet. She was about to spill some delicious blood when she heard Seza's name being called. She whipped her head towards Skye, rage filled eyes landed on her before it slid to the hand on her wrist, following it to the man who held her. She growled, an animalistic sound from low in her chest. Forgetting about the man rolling around on the floor, broken wrist clenched as he yowled. She stalked over to them, her gaze burning into the man and in a swift movement she lunged, wrapping an arm around the man's neck and swung herself effortlessly around to his back, effectively snapping his neck, an act she was sure would get her in lock down for a few weeks, but she didn't give a shit. She jumped off the man just as he crumbled down, pulling his shirt so he wouldn't fall on Skye. She then ripped the man's hand off Skye and grasped Skye's hair, oddly it wasn't a harsh grasp. Janus who was slowly beginning to revert back to Seza sat down, gently pulling Skye into her lap and hugged her, comforting her as Seza slid into control, "it's okay, I got you, I'll protect you," she whispered soothingly.
