Decided to read the ending...yeah, something about this slow thriller is not for me...I need something more... I need more rape, abuse, cheating, and psychos with my thrillers! I love the wife ones!

Ela (view spoiler)[The gal who was kind of their "hitman" was there in the subway and coming towards her. Shay couldn't see her because she was behind her back. Amanda figured the gal (I think her name was Victoria...can't remember for sure now) would kill her anyway because she wanted to go to police to tell them how they had killed him (James). Did you get the part that he was the step brother of the two gals who are sisters...also Victoria (damn is that her name)...she is their sister too. He had tried to rape her years before when they were younger...she left town afterwards under the guise that she wanted to be an actress...there's a lot there ...she's also the one who left the note telling the father that the mother was having an affair...did you get that far in the book? Where they didn't know who'd sent that note years before and broken up their mother and stepfather's marriage? It was the older sister because she was trying to protect her younger sisters from the stepbrother who she was afraid would prey on them after she left...and he was James. See...a lot more to it girl....twisty. (hide spoiler)]

I got all that! I actually loved the book...it just dragged on certain levels.

All done - 4 stars from moi!!! I liked it - but I'm finding I really don't like the endings of any of their books. They are just lackluster for me.
