Hrmm... am about to get the ebook from my library, but maybe I should spend an audible credit (Library doesn't have audio atm).
So, I'm in the minority here and while I agree that Drummer shows great emotion in narrating this (plus with a clear-Canadian voice, not Belter-slang), I really wish Cara Gee would change her voice more for dialogue situations. It gets distracting after awhile when I am not sure who is talking...
I just finished the physical copy. After reading all the posts, I’m really tempted to pick up the audiobook. I think it’d be a blast to listen through, already knowing the story, but able to experience it in a whole new way.
that's not a bad idea Hurley slips big concepts in so nonchalantly that you miss them. her reveals are so subtle a reread might be in order like Leesa is doing.

I enjoyed the audio narration but glad I have the kindle version as well so I can flip back and re-read some sections to see how it all came together. Had no idea that Cara Gee is Drummer in The Expanse :).

hope you enjoy it. the audiobook is good
I'm just about done with my re-read and a lot of things really clicked for me. If I'm ambitious, I'll post a thread about it:)

Cara Gee is the narrator, and she BRINGS IT. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a more committed or impassioned performance in an audiobook. If you watch The Expanse (and you should), Gee is the badass Belter commander Camina Drummer. But this performance is next-level.
(And slightly amusing — and gross — that there is much kaka owkwa in both.)
