Anna Anything Competition #1! What does this crazy thing mean?? This means literally the title: Anything! Lately I've been keeping you all strict with the competitions I was putting out there for you by giving you restrictions, but now you get to let your imagination flow freely! (This might be easier or harder for you, depending on who you are.) Enjoy!

1. Same rules throughout the group matter here too.

2. You get to literally enter WHATEVER you choose so long as it's connected with the below photo! Here are some possibilities, but definitely not the only things you're allowed to do; short story (same length as the ones we've done in the past), haiku/poem, description, book title, book blurb, an If You Were There thing...anything! Just please give a title for me to refer to it in the voting poll even if it is just, as an example, Anna's Poem.

3. Contest starts NOW (3/8/20) and will end in two weeks (3/22/20).

4. I have to be able to tell that it has something to do with the picture. For example, you couldn't write something about a cat climbing a tree if it was a picture of a man climbing out of a train.

© There will be no stealing of anyone's stories/work. We should all be mature enough to respect that if we are entering a contest. ©

*note* This is a cat from the internet.

A Cat's Wildest Dreams

Did you ever had a pet cat? Did you ever take it camping with you? Well, Bieghart family did but I'm pretty sure it is one of their top five regrets now! Why? Read on to find out...

Katlin Bieghart just got a little kitty, Loki, for her 5th birthday and she loves him so much.
Loki on the other hand is looking for way out. His previous owner was glad to get rid of the super naughty cat. And so was Loki. Because all he wanted to do was run freely on lush green grasslands! Yes that had became his wildest dream since he saw it on a flat window that hangs on the wall. He loved it so much that he tried to jump through the window but instead clashed with a thick glass. There were cracks on the window and it went black. Loki sat there staring at it while his owner came running to see what had happened.

The owner looked at the cracked screen and then looked down at his kitty.

The next thing Loki knew was that he was being slammed into his cage. When he was let out of the cage he found himself in a different house with two crazy little eyes staring down at him.

Katlin was psyched to have Loki! She had always wanted a pet because her best friend Dina also had one. Now they could both take their pets together to the park! Or wait, tomorrow her family was going camping maybe she could invite Dina with her pet too!

It was a short drive to Amity Hills, the little crowded camping site. Katlin and Dina were sitting together in the back sit with their pets on the lap.
Loki stared at the golden little fish moving in it's bowl. He would pounce on it right now, but earlier when he had tried to do that he was scolded by the big man. Not that he cared but he was also held tightly in the grasp of the little girl who kept hugging him every few minutes. He would have to wait to get that tasty looking fish.

The door of the car opens and Katlin climbed out still clutching Loki tightly. It was a sunny day, with few other families scattered on the grass field.
Loki saw the grass and was mesmerized. This looked exactly like the grass he had seen in the window on the wall. He leaped from Katlin's arms with full force but someone caught his tail. He mewed and fail face-first on the ground.

Katlin started crying .Katlin's daddy picked Loki up. Loki stared at him with cute little terrified eyes. He stroked Loki from nose to tail which Loki really liked. Then they spread a blanket and all sat in a circle. Katlin's mommy began unpacking the picnic basket. Dina fed half a bread slice to her Goldfish. Everyone else began eating.

This was it. Loki sprang from his perch and dived for the fish bowl. The little golden fish tried to hide in the depths of the bowl. But Loki was faster. He grabbed the fish and ran. He ran and ran, as fast as he could. He was finally living his dream! He was FREE!!

Everyone was startled. Half the water in the fish bowl was splashed around. Thankfully, the Goldfish wasn't harmed. The silly cat had just grabbed the piece of bread instead. Katlin got up and began running after Loki. Soon her daddy and Dina joined the chase. That cat was fast! As they ran Loki continued to disrupt other people's picnics. He 'accidentlly' jumped on a cake, some more cake and a lady who was eating cake.
They were now reaching the fence. Beyond it there was open land with trees. Loki leaped right through it and disappeared behind the trees.

After so much running Loki got tired ate his golden little fish. It didn't taste like the usual fish he used to get. Anyway, Loki found his way back to the picnic place. One of the families was tidying up, ready to go home. Loki was tired and need a place to sleep. He saw a mostly empty basket lying on the ground so it jumped in it and slept.
The Wolly family was surprised to find a cute little cat sleeping inside the basket when the arrived home. Their was pretty happy. So they kept the cat.

..."Guess he's happy out there somewhere, Kate." Daddy assured Katlin everytime she recollected the incident when her two day new pet ran away.
