This cell is located in the Ward for the Horrifically Insane. Before it gets cleaned, it can get rather dirty. As with all cells in the area, a guard is posted outside it. The four occupants within are:
{1} Jada Blackmoore
{2} Annabella Avery Evens
{3} Marisela Clare Hoffman
{4} Pepper Collins

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments Pepper lay on the top bunk of the bed staring up at the ceiling. Given that she liked solitude and preferred having nothing but air above her, she had claimed one of the top bunks as her own. She was stubborn, unmovable on this front. She didn't know much about her cell mates, she didn't have interest in befriending them, but she knew their names at least. Jada and Annabella weren't there right now, and she was left in the awkward position where there was a mere 2 people together in silence, and not a comfortable one either. Reaching over she grabbed a pot of pills and took one, without water, simply letting slide down her throat. That done she lay back, her short black hair fanning around her head.

You're all alone with her... She's going to get you.

"Shut up," whispered Pepper, pushing the unwelcome number from her mind. Number 8.

Marisela Clare Hoffman (or as she was known to her cellmates, Morrigan Curtis) was sitting on her bed and twiddling her thumbs. She was bored, so bored that she wanted to punch something, or kick something, or perhaps just torture and kill something. She didn't really care so long as whatever it was engaged her interests. MC didn't really have an interest in being friendly. She wasn't in a mood for being good. That was too much or just too straight-laced for her right now. Then again, maybe it didn't have to be the nice, happy version of socializing. Antagonizing was a decent idea, but she thought she came up with a better idea. After all, she was a fountain of genius ideas if she did say so herself. "Hey, Peps, want to dance?" She grinned widely, looking a lot like a cat in her self-satisfaction.

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Priscilla slowly walked down the halls, her blonde hair swished lightly as she wandered about, checking on cells, but most patients were out and about. Which meant that she'd have to do another round. With more people. That could kill her. Just the though of it made Priscilla's heart race. Things like that easily scared her, those thoughts about dying. She stopped at Cell 301, distancing herself from the girls in the room. She started off on her quiet questioning, interrupting anything that was going on between the two, before she got there.
"Hello girls. I need to know if you've eaten today, and if you've taken your pills for today. If you have an appointment with any of the doctors or psychologists they will be delayed today due to an incident."
There was an incident every day, so it wasn't new. She looked up at the girls, waiting for a response. Hopefully they'd be in a good mood and Priscilla could handle this easily today.

message 5: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "I haven't danced since I was-" She cut off as the intruder spoke and her otherwise calm mood spiked a little. She barely looked at the nurse as she quietly spoke her reply. "I took my pills-" True. "And I have eaten." Lie.

Pepper didn't understand why they even made scheduled appointments, it wasn't like anyone could keep to them. Lunatics dropped like flies in the asylum, and there was never a day when there wasn't a damn incident. As far as she was concerned, if the psychiatrists wanted to speak to her, they could find her in their own time. She was done being marched up to see them only to realise that they were 'too busy' at that moment in time.

Annoying little thing... Look at her... Better to kill her now, Pepp-

"We're fine," said Pepper. The pills hadn't fully taken effect yet, but they had weakened her link to the companions.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

MC wasn't sure if Pepper had caught the euphemism. Still, she would have been entertained if Pepper hadn't, and if she had, then she would be having a whole lot more fun, wouldn't she? She pouted at the nurse who walked in. She pushed herself from her bunk on the top and sauntered over to the bars. Sure, she could see that Pepper had the situation handled, but she just wanted to mess with the nurse. MC did have a penchant for ending up in solitary confinement for a reason. "Hey, nursie, what f*cking little meds should I be taking? Something for the little sh*t called insanity 'cause I've got that under my own f*cking control. Can't you see? I'm f**king cursing. Ta-da. Can't you just bugger off already?" MC was practically leering at Priscilla. MC's eyes gleamed. See? they seemed to say. I win. You can't beat me, b*tch. MC sniggered and covered her mouth. She wished she had a knife lying around. It wasn't to cut Priscilla necessarily. She didn't care whom she cut, just that she cut someone. Something. She would still be satisfied if that something were herself. She'd carved enough patterns in her own skin before, after all.

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Priscilla nodded at Pepper, making a few quick marks on her clipboard. She was relieved that maybe for once she could get away from these people without having a panic attack. She looked up at the other girl in the room who had walked over to the bars. Instantly Priscilla froze a million scenarios racing through her head, and none of them were good. As the patient started cursing Priscilla took the assumption that MC hadn't had her pills. She winced as the cursing continued, Priscilla almost wondering if the girl wanted to cause problems. She ran down the clipboard, stopping at the girl's name. "You must be Miss Curtis." She says softly, digging through her bag for the right pills. The bag was heavy, weighed down by miscellaneous bottles and many locks. "I have your pills here." A step forward, closer to the bars that separated an insane woman and a frightened girl. Shaking the pills into her hand, Priscilla seemed to hold her breath. She held the pills out to the girl, her hand shaking. "Please-" Her voice cracked, "Please don't make me get a guard to escort you to solitary confinement. Just take the pills. Do you need water?"

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments ((Sorry, GMT :PP))

Pepper sat up so that she was cross-legged on the bed. The woman looked positively terrified, and of course, in the asylum the inmates could smell fear like melted chocolate. She hopped gracefully off the bed and loped over to the bars, leaning against them casually. "Morrigan, save the terrorizing for someone who isn't quaking in their boots," she said, her strong New York accent rolling of her tongue.

Instead of using water to take the pills, drink her blood, hm?

"They're not my pills," she grumbled under her breath, resting her head against the bars, "Hey how come the other two get to leave here but you keep me cooped up like a chicken. I have to keep my fitness up you know; I'm going to be an athlete."

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

((It's fine!))

"F*cking hilarious, because that's part of what I d*mn well love about it. The quaking, the madness they feel, the power I feel." MC's eyes gleamed as she spoke, and her lips curled up into a smile. She did love the killing. It kept things interesting, and she was passionate about it too. She clapped her hands and rubbed them together quickly enough that she could feel the friction generating heat. MC turned to Pepper. "Well, would you rather I torment you? Perhaps we'd both rather that."

Smirking, she turned away from the door for a moment. For that moment, it seemed that she was going be good and turn away and head back to her bunk. Of course, that would presume that she was ever good and that she actually cared about the feelings of others. Well, more others than just her dear Allison and her dearly deceased Callie. She then turned back around to Priscilla and grabbed her arm. She pulled it through the barred door with the full intent of using the newly found leverage to break Priscilla's arm. However, before she did, she took the moment to smirk.

Priscilla listened to the girls talking, getting anxious. Both girls knew she was scared. Both girls were crazy. Both girls we going to give Priscilla a heart attack. She glanced up and down the halls, still holding the pills out. "Just take the pills," she urges, relieved when the Curtis girl starts to turn away. Maybe she could just leave and get another nurse to come down here. These people gave her just another reason to want to leave, besides her brother of course. Priscilla loved her brother to death.

Priscilla was silent until a gasp escaped as her arm was pulled through the bars, making her stumble forward. She winched at the contact, and struggled. Her mind was telling her to scream, have a panic attack, but she tried to not let her fear take over. Instead she focused on getting out of the girl's grasp, dropping the pills in the process. "Let me go," She says, practically begging. "Please." The warmth of the girl's hands was more than Priscilla could handle for that amount of time and tears sprung up in her eyes. Any moment she could burst out in a full panic attack, screaming crying, and alerting any guard in the hall. "You have to stop touching me. Let go of me," She said hysterically, with tears sliding down her cheeks.

"But I don't want to play tormenting games with you," said Pepper tiredly, "and my friends never let me play by myself." And it was true, they were evil little buggers these days. The playful colour friends of her childhood had long since been silenced by 8 and his band of evil numbers. Only Black remained now, and he was of no use in situations like this. The pills stopped their dominance, but they did not eradicate them entirely. They were always there; fighting would make it worse. Contrary to popular belief, Pepper didn't particularly like killing, she just... lost it a little sometimes, and accidents happened.

When Morrigan grabbed the nurse, Pepper rolled her eyes. "If you break her arm doing that they'll put you in the jacket and throw you in a dark room for days. As if this wasn't restrictive enough. Hey dollface, you'll tell them I wasn't involved, right? I didn't break your arm, okay?" She sauntered back over to the bunks and led against one of the posts. "You ever do that to me, Curtis, and I'll have your eyes out."

((Right outside DC))

MC smirked. She honestly liked solitary confinement and the straitjackets. They amused her. To her, it showed the stupidity of all of the people against her, a stupidity she believed was an unending well. She had played the police and every authority and person from a young age, and none had suspected a thing. Besides, she was a masochist and gained some joy from self-harm. So, instead of breaking Priscilla's arm and snapping it like a twig per her original plan. She gained some leverage against the bars and yanked Priscilla's arm. Even if it didn't knock Priscilla out, there would have been the moment of thinking 'Ow' or being stunned. MC smirked and stepped over to the door.

"Hey, Pepsi," she called after herself as she worked the lock. "You'd f*cking fail. Really, you should d*mn well be bowing down in awe of my genius. You never could manage it in a million years of all the sh*t you've pulled." A second later, the door was unlocked. "Well, toodles." She grinned and waved at Pepper and looked at Priscilla.

message 13: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Priscilla winced and yelped in pain as she was practically thrown against the bars. Her head made contact with the metal and she felt a mixture of numbness and nausea. She moved to her knees, cradling her arm which had been pulled through. The phantom feeling of skin contact still lingered, making Priscilla want to douse her arm in water, scrub off the touch. Blood pounded in her ears and her mouth was dry. Everything in her was pain and fear. Priscilla had never been the strongest person, in fact she was quite weak. This amount of pain made her see spots, and she was lucky to still be conscious. In this moment she was frozen, unsure what to do.

Thoughts of dying, and the crazy girl hurting her haunted her and she looked up at the almost escaped patient. "I-I'll scream." She says, feeling pulsing pain in her head. She just had to stay awake long enough to get a guard over here. Her brother wouldn't be happy that she got knocked out by just being shoved into the bars. Yet again Jason didn't seem to like her working here anyway. "I'll scream," She continues, "And the guards will be over here in a second." Her head spun and Priscilla could already guess she might get a concussion from this. "You're going to fail."

message 14: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "Whatever," drawled Pepper, "I can't take someone seriously who quite clearly changed their own name to Morrigan in an attempt to be interesting-" She cut off as the girl unlocked the door and stepped out. The act seemed foolish in Pepper's eyes, even if she made it out the cell before Priscilla tranquilized her, she'd never get past the guards. Upon Pepper's own arrest, she had only managed to take down thirteen before they knocked her out, and she was a trained martial artist, who was high on adrenaline at that point. Even if she did take to deifying other humans, this girl was going about genius the wrong way.

She walked up to Priscilla and flicked her forehead, a habit of hers. "Don't worry, dollface, I'll tell them she attacked you or something."

You could kill them and pretend it was in self defense.

"No," she said angrily.

Do it.

But 8's rants were useless when she felt as stable as she did then.

MC was torn between giving the one-fingered salute and giving a normal salute. Both were rather appealing options, but she decided on the former. She was out of her cell. She knew she wouldn't escape the Insane Asylum, not without a proper weapon of her own design. Really, what she was aiming for was the Solitary Confinement. Well, if she really was aiming for was a kinky shag out of one of the psycho guards and then solitary confinement. She perceived the world just fine. It was more her attitude towards it that was disturbed than anything. But whatever that may be, she was dangerous and had killed thousands on her own just because she had been able to. MC ran down the hallway away from her cell. her eyes gleamed, and her breath, miraculously, did not get heavier. This was almost joy for her, this doing something she wasn't meant to, the pain she and others would suffer for it. The only thing that would make her happier would be a person to shag and a proper weapon.

message 16: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Priscilla shook her hand and pulled herself up, leaning heavily on the bars of the cell. Spots seemed to dance in front of her eyes, and she looked at Pepper waiting to see if she'd make a run. She looked down the hallway and yelled, yes, Priscilla yelled for the first time in years, "Guards! Escapee!" That was enough noise out of Priscilla to last months. She figured the guards would enjoy the run the Curtis girl had put up. They always liked giving a few beatings and dragging whoever they could to solitary confinement. This would be just another day for the guards. Not exactly the same for Priscilla though. She turned her back to the commotions that the guards had started up, chasing after MC, instead looking at Penny as Priscilla lifted her hand to pinch the bridge of her nose. "Please don't make me have to tranquilize you." Today she had more than enough physical contact, practically knocked out, and it was too much for Priscilla. She pushed herself away from the bars. "Miss..." She trails off not knowing the girl's name. "Since you were kind enough to not attack me,would you like to go to any of the common areas or such? I'll have a guard escort you while I collect my things." She moved to the door, grabbing keys that in her pocket to lock after Pepper got out, or before, if Pepper didn't want to go out.

message 17: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "Don't tranquilize me," pointed Pepper, "Come on, you should have read that in the description - I'm not to be touched. I think it's a remnant of PTSD or something, I didn't really listen to them." She smiled to herself and leaned against the bars, "Sure I'll go," she agreed, "Perhaps we'll see if those crazy guards catch her, I can remember when Zackary caught me. Forgive the use of the first name but he carved 'harlot' onto my thigh, I feel like we're at that stage in our relationship." She smiled then, taking a step out and starting to walk down the corridor. "Let's follow her - it's always so boring in here. Don't worry, I won't hurt you Doctor. It's not in my nature."

Debatable.

message 18: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Priscilla nodded and opened the metal door, beckoning Pepper to come out. "I'm not putting you in cuffs because you have a good record. The other nurses speak well about you." She didn't add that she didn't want to get near the girl's skin. Trying to fix handcuffs on someone was a lot more skin than handing someone pills. She waited to Pepper came out, before adding, "You don't like touching people either. I'm not one for physical contact much either. You have PTSD though? That must be tough." The only reason Priscilla knew that was because she was suspected of having it herself. She didn't doubt it, but had to look normal to not end up in a cell like her brother. "You're quite talkative." She points out, almost happy that if this girl could keep talking, Priscilla wouldn't have anything to say."Where would you like to go now that you're out of the cell?" Thinking about what Pepper had said, Priscilla thought they were a lot alike. PSTD, Haphephobia, they both had the related sort of illnesses. What an odd coincidence.

message 19: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "Yeah," sighed Pepper, sauntering out, "Your typical rape victim, I guess. The schizophrenia is all me though, no one to blame about that. Don't worry, you're safe - with all the medication I'm on it would take a pretty big trigger for me to lose it. But seeing as you're not big on human contact either, I doubt it will be a problem." She ran her hands through her fairly short black hair, gesturing for Priscilla to walk with her. "I don't know many places to go, aren't you supposed to decide that?"

message 20: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Pepper was a rape victim, huh. Priscilla didn't see that coming. Schizophrenia fit in, Pepper mumbled under her breath every now and then. It fit in. Her past fit in with the scientific reasons for her PSTD. Even though she didn't have a degree, Priscilla had learned a lot in the time she'd been helping out at the asylum. She turned her head slightly when Pepper mentioned human touch being a big trigger. "Human contact is not my favorite thing." Priscilla agrees, grabbing her clip board and pill bag before catching up to Pepper. "Neither is talking, but I manage." She looks down, glancing every few minutes at Pepper. "I don't decide anything. Ever. How about I take you to the exercise yard?" She shifts the bag on her shoulder before turning down the hall as guards and other prisoners pass her. "If you're not a danger, why are you classified as Horrifically Insane?"

message 21: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "Exercise yard," repeated Pepper, "That's good - I'm going to be an athlete you know." Given her condition the likelihood was very low but she liked to believe in it anyway. There was a time when she had been unbeatable on the field and in the dojo. She chuckled at Priscilla's last question. "I told you I wasn't a danger, but no amount of dopamine really ever drives them away. It drives away all the good ones, and leaves 8 - that's why they keep having to raise my dosage. Every time they think I'm safe he gets to me again, and I come back black and blue. It's okay though, they upped my dose only yesterday. I think most killers end up in the Horrifics and mine were definitely not sane, I barely remember doing it."

message 22: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) "Do you mean you have eight alters, or that your alter is named eight? And it's a he?" Priscilla motioned with her fingers as she asked her questions. As a nurse, she wasn't supposed to connect this much with prisoners. Not supposed to look so clueless, much less curious about what she didn't know but Pepper didn't seem to want to take over her for not knowing. It almost made her feel safe, but then it started a whole 'nother chain of worries. What if the girl was just pretending so she could kill Priscilla later? What if the girl was going to do something, hurt Priscilla or maybe even hurt Jason. Priscilla felt sweat roll down her back, forcing herself to calm down. If Pepper wasn't touching Priscilla, she'd be good. For now. "You barely remember killing someone?" That just made everything worse. So much worse in Priscilla's mind. "Have... have you killed anyone here?" Her voice lowered, slightly trembling.

message 23: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "Oh I have no alters," she said, "It's not DID, it's just schizophrenia. And 8 is, well... 8. A number." She walked for another minute or so, sensing Priscilla's unease, but it was to be expected - after all, she was a schizo. "No never killed anyone here," she said honestly, "I stabbed a guard in the eye with a fork though, have you seen him? The one with the eye patch? They sent me to the Detention Chamber, the guy there cut me up good. That was when I first got there though - I'm much more stable now." She tilted her head back to look at Priscilla. "Hey you got any cigarettes? My mom brought me some last week but they got confiscated because I gave Morrigan one."

message 24: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) "Oh..." Priscilla went quiet, thinking. "So Schizophrenia isn't alters, just voices in your head." Priscilla knew her brother had DID, or something of the sort. They all seemed the same to her, Schizophrenia and DID. Pepper was talking again, and she felt herself calm a little. Killers, especially ones that had killed in the asylum scared her. Patients had killed each other, she'd been told that repeatedly by other nurses. They all were dangerous. The patients all would eat you if you gave them the chance. "I've seen him. I believe so. That was you?" Priscilla gave her a once over. Besides looking dirty and tired, normal patient signs, Penny didn't look like a killer, "I think he lost any bit of happiness when you did that. He never seems to be happy." She looks forward, pointing to a corner. "Turn right this corner." She shook her head. "I don't smoke, sorry. You could always put in a request." Priscilla shrugged, fiddling with her clipboard once again.

message 25: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "Of course he never seems to be happy," laughed Pepper, "He's a sour old b*stard who tried to defile me. Honestly, it says quite clearly in my file that sexual assault was the reason I got in here in the first place-" She turned when Priscilla told her to, the order reminding her once again that she was getting to outside. She smiled happily. "Then again, is anyone really happy in here. I mean I see a lot of the guards and doctors who still have strength enough to laugh but even I know it's all a lie. This place is the embodiment of misery and insanity, after all. You should get out of here whilst you still have the choice, Nurse P."

message 26: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) Priscilla shrugged, looking down. "It's not a happy place here. But I do have to stay. My brother's here and we've never been apart." She shrugged, letting out a soft sigh. "I'll be here until he's released." It was completely true, she would never leave her brother, Jason meant everything to her. Even if she was forced to stay in the dark, creepy asylum, she would learn to love it, because her brother was here. "We'll be at the yard soon. Just another minute or so." She mentions, handing her clipboard to another nurse quietly. She made sure their hands were at opposite ends of the board and then gave the other employee a small smile before walking with Pepper again. "I'm sorry you were almost defiled. It's not right." Priscilla looks at the girl from under her lashes, almost wondering how cruel a man could be. It never seemed right to her, the way men got away with assaulting women everyday.

message 27: by Lord (new)

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 263 comments "So you're here for him?" she inquired, "That's nice I suppose. I'd come here for the people I love, were they still alive. I've lost all affection for my mother - she thinks I'm a freak now. Like, I can see her trying and all, but she can't help it. I killed my boyfriend and his family, and I didn't remember doing it, but I still did it. Like it was my fault." She smiled in anticipation of the yard, edging away from an employee who was walking past, instinctively putting distance between them and her. "Ah it's not right, that's true, but he got his comeuppance. Got off lucky actually, seeing as technically I killed the last person who really did rape me. You know, they didn't call it rape, they called it sexual assault. Please, you think just because she has no junk it wasn't rape? Authorities are idiots these days."

message 28: by Natasha S ♥ (new)

Natasha S ♥ (tashieareads) "Your mother must love you on the inside. Every mother loves their child no matter what." Priscilla says, looking over at the mangled looking girl who's personality didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the patients. "On another note, killing people isn't something I'm familiar with... I don't really know how people feel when loved ones kill" That was partly a lie. The second part was false, Priscilla knew fully how terrifying and horrific it could be to see your family member covered in blood, being dragged away by cops. She could still remember how hard she had cried after losing her only other close family member. "Here we are." She stops at a door, looking at Pepper. "Someone else will be taking you back in later."

She could not remember what he had been like in the moment she had killed him, how he must have looked at her in betrayal. When they arrived at the doors, a smile broke out over Pepper's face - "Thank you, Nurse P, I'll be good I promise." She smirked in satisfaction and pushed the door open, wincing slightly as the light hit her - it had been so long.
