I first read this book over 10 years ago! I don't remember anything about it except that it was my absolute favorite story. I was so ecstatic when I realized it was 544 pages (hardcover; 560 paperback). It's a young adult fantasy novel, so it should be a fairly easy read. It's actually a trilogy now (wasn't when I first read it), so I can't wait to dive into the rest of Funke's books. I may get started on this early!! ^_^

I love that movie :D. I think I read a book by her when I was younger...hmm... I hope you enjoy it! And when you read the rest of the apparent trilogy let us know how it is!
I read this a few years back and it was definitely an interesting read. A bit confusing for me as I was 10 or so. But definitely interesting. I hope I get the chance to pick this book up again soon.
I know right. I so prefer pen and paper. . . And books. . .but who doesn't wright? xD
I'm so excited I can hardly contain it! I finally finished Inkheart. My heart is aching to read Inkspell, the next book in Funke's series.Inkheart was a great fantasy novel. Very unique with its story. The narration threw me off sometimes because it would jump around to different characters, but it really was great. Ending was somewhat abrupt, but I guess she has to make room for the other books.
I'll be writing a formal review soon and I'll post it here!!
If you enjoy young adult novels as well as fantasy, please pick this up!!!
Here's my review of it! I am new to reviewing books (and I'm also watching a movie) so it isn't the best. I recommend this book!!!My Review
I'm a big fan of Inkheart, though I didn't enjoy the other books in the trilogy as much.I really enjoy reading aloud and hearing how the words sound though, so it's probably just as well that I don't have any special talents like Meggie and Mo.
