Let's start!

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

I've been working on "Seeing Visions."

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Look at the discussion page called "Seeing Visions."

And check out the new "Things Every Story Needs!"

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks!

Did you see the new "Things Every Story Needs?"

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Can I help too? (If it's ok)

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

All of you can help each other on UnbredSpring's story. UnbredSpring, just start a new discussion called, "UnbredSpring's Story-Edit"

Thanks

And how do you do that? Also, is that necessary to make a new one? Can we not just use this thread?

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll create it. Look in the discussions are in the group!

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Here are some names.

Andrew, Nathan, Gabe and Jordan.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

I just feel like Gabe is a good name because it brings out a somewhat adventurous tone. The last book I read was fantasy and the main character's name was Gabe and it made me feel more sucked up in the story.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha! You should include the name Gabe.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah! Then maybe use Gabriel.

I kind of want to ditch my site idea, but I do that a lot and I never finish any of my many works. I need help. I don’t know.

Mayflower (legendfangirl) | 2 comments soooo, random question, but im thinking up a story with a lot of different detailed characters/ creatures and its kinda overloading my brain. do you think making a log of my creatures and their characteristics would be helpful, a waist of time, or a helpful waist of time?

I think more notes the better as long as they are organized and you can make sense of it all. As writers, we have so many ideas that come and go, however you can keep track and organize between the good ideas, the bad ideas, and the ideas that you may need to go back to is important. I honestly go to my wife and discuss different ideas I have with my stories and she will either tell me if it's a good idea or not. Sometimes you also just need to say stuff out loud and then you'll realize you don't like it! haha.

Sorry, so long story short I guess I would say it's a helpful waste of time.
