Faraz Mir Besides, I would say that one should read quality material as much as possible for better analysis.

Aspirant should not rely on market material or academic notes only.

Finally, stick to the syllabus, check out past papers for understanding questioning techniques and recent trends.

Tribal Demagogue | 77 comments A piece of advice that I would give you is that you should concentrate mostly on writing, both mechanical and technical. That is, practice every day to write neatly, write fast, and for extended periods of time. And to write well in terms of grammar, expression, syntax etc. In my opinion this holds 70% weightage as opposed to raw knowledge which is perhaps 20%. 10% boils down to pure luck. I wouldn’t recommend reading too much and exhausting yourself. Make sure you have a decent grip on the course that’s outlined in the syllabus and let your expression weave the magic for you.

Secondly, before choosing your optionals, join a good academy (NOA for Islamabad, JWT for Lahore) and seek guidance. Two months at the academy should be enough if you’re a fairly smart kid. After that study on your own.

Lastly, learn how to attempt a css paper. It has to be adorned with a combination of black and blue markers, headings, sub-headings, quotes, statistics etc. It sounds retarded but it’s a major part of the 70% that I mentioned earlier.

Study smart. Don’t try to memorise each and everything. Quality over quantity.

Best of luck!
