book 1

City of Bones, although it’s not my favorite Cassandra Clare book, is still definitely a 5-star read (all of hers are!) and it’s the Shadowhunters book that really started it all for me.

I have the 10th anniversary edition of this book that is SIGNED!!! my most prized possession
Although sadly I didn’t go to a signing or meet her in person, my parents brought me back the book from a trip they went on. I had heard of Shadowhunters before but hadn’t read any of the books, so thanks mom and dad for starting me on my favorite author of all time!

Lucky!! did your parents happen to cross by her or did they specifically go there for the book

I believe they found it in a bookstore, so I don’t think they met her either

A lot of people say this one definitely wasn't the best, but I thought it was pretty solid!
