Magnus Sparkly Bane

Magnus met Edmund Herondale in 1857.
He left London then and came back after a quarter century. He also mentioned later
He had, of course, been in London before, twenty-five years past.
so what year does it make?? It makes somewhere around 1882 to me but James was born in 1886. And when Magnus meets him, James is around 17 I think. I'm confused

Well he meets Edmund than will than he leaves for the twenty five year period. And I think James is 16 or 15 when he meets Magnus. That being said I’m not 100% sure.

you're right! silly me.. I totally forgot the time he was in London and met Will. so after that... I think yes. it makes some sense. since Will was 17 when he met Magnus. after twenty five years, he surely had kids who grew up.
