Thank you for joining our Goodreads group! I look forward to hearing all about whatever you may be reading.

My name is Jade and I'm a Reference Librarian at the La Quinta Library. I've been here for almost 7 years now and am partly responsible for programs for adults and our social media. Some of my favorite genres are scifi, fantasy, environmental fiction, slice of life books, romance and just weird fiction. I love reading graphic novels, really enjoy a good audiobook and am having a great time managing some of the library's book clubs.

Hey Jade,
You probably see me all the time, both at the library with 1 or both of my loud toddlers, or on social media. La Quinta Library is my absolute favorite library in the valley and it helps that my daughter now goes to school right down the street!

I am a current MLIS student at SJSU, hoping to graduate Spring 2021. I am interested in working in public libraries, but also have a soft spot for cataloging and archiving, so we shall see what the future holds.

I can find the love in most genres, although lately I have been on a scifi/fantasy kick, peppered with different topics within Social Sciences.

I love this club idea.

You know me but for those who don't. My name is Ashley and I volunteer at the library and help Jade with social media stuff. And I agree with Katie, La Quinta Public Library is my favorite in the valley.

I enjoy reading YA the most and tend to like shorter books or audiobooks because I have a shorter attention span and won't finish the book if it's too long or doesn't grab my attention. I also like romance, fiction, thriller, and sometimes mystery books.
