My goal is to read as many pages as possible. My reading hasn't been going as well this month with the stress of the coronavirus.
The last few days my reading has slowed. Planning a reading day today to gear up for this weekend. I have tons of books to get done for the many book clubs I’m in. Hopefully it will be a great weekend!!
first 24 hour readathon challenge I'm undertaking (people make it look so interesting) ..... my goal is to actively participate & that'll truly be good enough for me. Blocking off 24 hours within a 3 day window is going to be wild but why not?! Next couple of days will be picking out tea, travel mugs, blankets & reading locations.
Eventhough I have 4 NetGalley reviews to do I am focusing on Christian Fiction and Christian Biblical Fiction for my read-a-thon! I see a lot out there wants to read and watch stories about viruses but I need some uplifting reads for now. I don't want to be scared right at this moment. So I'm going to sit back and be uplifted!!

Noticed the film Contagion was trending which irritated me but how surprising?! I may check out your shelves for Christian fiction since I have a really difficult time getting into it.

Her books aren't preachy but just have wonderful lessons to learn. I agree why would you want to watch Contagion?? Don't we have enough trouble as it is??? Hope this helps!! Happy reading!!
Everyone has some great goals! Remember it’s about having fun and relaxing.
Yeah I don’t understand the need to watch pandemic stuff on TV.

My goal really is to finish the numerous books I’ve started. I’d like to read the 24 hour mark and finish at least 5 books. Also I’m reading Les Misérables and I want to finish volume I Fantine.
Finish the 2 trilogies I have currently on the go!Series 1- Arc of a Scythe, am currently half way through book 2 of 3.
Series 2- To All The Boys, I finished book 2 but never picked up book 3!
If I finish those, I want to start on an older book in my collection, maybe a historical fiction to mix things up a bit.
I think I'm going to try to get 2 of my NetGalley books read! I have 4 to do so this will be a great time to get it done.
My goal is to read a chunk of The Secret History, if not all of it. I'm just gonna try to read as much as possible. Can't wait!
am planning to finish Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare as well as my audio book Third Girl by Agatha Christie. I then plan to start The House at Riverton by Kate Morton. Wishing the best to all of you taking part!Chain of Gold
The House at Riverton
Third Girl
I’m kind of in a reading slump and I hope this will get me out! I got a couple books on audiobook I want to start (and hopefully finish)Tbr:
Hello everyone,I have three books left on my TBR for March and I'm hoping I'll get through them:
The Pact
I Was Born for This
Behind The Lens
Happy reading!
I know I'll be reading Sue Grafton's V is for Vengeance, and hopefully finish An American Tragedy for a group read. Other than that, I'll just see what catches my attention.
Well I hope tomorrow read-a-thon goes better than my reading today!! I thought I would never say this but I'm getting sick of reading. I think I've read 6 books in the last 10 days. So I took a break today to see what I can do tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be ready!! Wish me luck!!
I want to try and finish Good Omens and Snow Flower And The Secret Fan. We'll see how this goes since this is my Saturday to work so I have only Friday
I have finished my first book - Third Girl by Agatha Christie!Hope you are all enjoying the readathon.
Hi all, I just joined the group. As I only just stumbled across this, I haven‘t tracked my reading time today. But it hasn‘t been much yet anyway, as I am still working. Well, actually, I am having my lunchbreak right now. But I will work another one or two hours, so I will get some reading time in from later this afternoon.
I will post what I am currently reading and plan to read over the weekend over on the tracker post. I will not track the actual page count/hours listened to. I stopped doing that at the end of last year, because it started to take away too much of my reading time to keep track and calculate it, etc. Very refreshing to just read, without wondering how many pages it is. As a reference, I read about a book per week, plus one audio and various comics. I averaged about 2.200 pages per month, last time I checked...
Today was a waste. I'm so burned out on reading at the present. I think I've read 6 books in the last 10 days. Tomorrow I am going to start the read of thon. I just needed a must needed break. I never thought I would ever burned out on reading. Its my passion. So all out there wish me luck!!
feeling a little unmotivated. My goal is to finish shantaram this weekend. I have about a 150 pages left and I'd like to get through another book but just feeling kind of burned out so we'll see
Well, since I apperently decided Thursday and Friday were for nothing but sleeping, I am probably not going to get any further than I already have...
We all have those moments in our lives where reading may need a break. It’s okay.
Tips:
Just take a break - sometimes we need it
Try to read something short and fun like a children’s book
Maybe try a book from a different genre or format
Or pick up an old favorite

I'm taking your advice. I had a good day off yesterday. Found a book I was interested in today so I'll see how it goes. I'm going to start reading when I have the rest of my stuff done. Not pushing it.
For anyone interested we will be extending the readathon through April 3. I’ll be continuing on and working on finishing up some lingering books I’ve started.
Now I understand why people participate in readathons 😭 I finally get it. I didn't get serious until late - Saturday was a total no-go. So today was pick up WHATEVER catches my eye. My nonfiction books can wait until later. I technically got through six books so far. Although if I count by my standard, it would be 3.
I managed to read 3 1/2 books (1042 pages) in 15hrs and 26mins! Thank you for getting me through a few days of the Lockdown. Can't wait to take part again next month and attempt to increase my page count.
