some times, we might want to do a rosary or some thing together so i will comment on this.

There's someone in one of my groups (I don't think I should name them specifically) But that person lost their mother when they were younger and they are trying to understand God but it's hard for them. The person prays when they are in distress sometimes. A few others and my self are talking to the person about God but I thought we should pray for them.

I agree that this is a very distressing time. Catholics will be prime targets because we're pro-life, pro-family, pro-Church, pro-tradition, and pro-virtue. We must put on the armor of light. Rocks and stones may penetrate, but with our thoughts always turned toward God, we are always safe. As Pope John Paul II said "don't be afraid."

A prayer for the troops coming home from Afghanistan, may they come home safely and may God bless the cities being attacked. Let them know that there are people praying for their safety and they are not alone.

Hi everyone!

so, recently, I have had the feeling that God is calling me to become closer to him, and I don't really know what to do. I have been a practicing Catholic my whole life, but I think I've also been mostly lukewarm in my love of God. I also struggle with distraction during mass and when I pray. I have been asking for the virtue to give my life more fully to God. I am not exactly afraid of doing so, but I know its a big step committing myself. prayers and advice would be deeply appreciated. thank you!

I went through a similar thing when I was your age, and I am struggling quite a bit now.
One thing I find that helps is to read (or listen to) a lot of spiritual stuff. Again lots of prayers!

a toddler I know, was rushed to the hospital yesterday because she got lead poisoning, but when they got there, they noticed that she was not producing hemoglobin. she may have leukemia, please pray for her!
