Hello friends! As stated in my other thread for my other piece, please feel free to discuss my book here and don't hesitate to give constructive criticism! My first drafts are typically full of plot holes and inconsistencies; however, I aim to get better as a writer, and I can only do that by practicing and when lovely people like you help me realise little issues!
Please also recommend my writing to your friends! I will also eventually be looking for editors and beta readers of the final copy, so keep a lookout for that!
I Love your story! everything is very straight forward, all the characters are saying everything as it is. (Unlike my story where everyone is constantly saying the wrong thing, or lying.) the story is very neat. i like where you're going with it and i'd love to see how it goes!
Oh, thank you so much! This is the first time I've let somebody read this work (besides myself and one other friend). I was heavily inspired by Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys. I wanted to take that feeling of being ripped away from your family and then being forced into a role that you never would've thought you'd be in and kind of turn it into a story that's raw and real, causes pain and tears, but is, ultimately, a story of hope.
I've never read Between fifty shades of Gray but it's been recommended to me. it has everything a good beginning should have: Introduction, action, explanation, fear, friends and hope. Thank you for the story i hope to read more!
