April first is the best day for practical jokes! In celebration, try and find a funny book, or a book in which a character is tricked!

Eileen | 1862 comments Sal and Gabi Fix the Universe may be the one I read for this challenge, depending on how funny it is. I really enjoyed the first one and Sal did magic to trick bullies.

Eileen | 1862 comments I finished Sal and Gabi and I also read The Key Quest and Annalynn the Canadian Spy: Terrible Tissues which are probably middle school and elementary school books, respectively (author wrote it for his kids) and they totally had me giggling. Nothing deep, but it was nice to laugh about something silly.

With everything going on, who doesn't need a giggle Eileen! Glad you enjoyed your books!

Eileen | 1862 comments Thanks! And yes, we definitely need a giggle. The other positive part of these books is that if we're in a book slump, these are easy and quick books to read!

Tr1sha | 833 comments I forget to post this before! I read Raining Cats and Donkeys by Doreen Tovey at the beginning of April. It’s funny, though I think her earlier cat books are better.

I read Leave It to Psmith by P.G. Wodehouse. It was entertaining and the secretary Baxter was certainly a fool.
