Oh man, I just finished How to be both and it was wonderful. "There but for the" is definitely on my list.
Now I'm all confused. I had The Accidental pegged as my first Smith! I guess I'll just have to read them all...
I'd join in with you on The Accidental, Lisa. I'm hoping it'll lead me to add more of her works, just as TBFT encouraged the second.
I just read 'How To Be Both', and though I found the 2 halves a little uneven, Smith's abilities were never in question. Very keen to check out more.
I just finished How to be both, and it might be my favorite of 2014. It was my first Ali Smith, but I'm definitely reading more this next year.
