I may have already posted a message, but I can't see it here now. I would like to read "The Lathe of Heaven". Perhaps in July? Is anyone else interested ??
Oh great! I just saw this topic. I finished The Word for World Is Forest last night and must read more LeGuin, I love her writing.
So I'm definitely in! :)
Oooh The Lathe of Heaven is the only Le Guin I've read and that was only last year. I'm very keen to read more... Any suggestions?
I can definitely recommend the very short but very perfect "The Word for World is Forest " or a classic like "The Dispossessed". What I haven't read so far, have been meaning to for ages is "The Left Hand of Darkness".I'm not sure, anyway, what happened to the original group read...
Well I'd be in for "Left Hand" oe basically anything else I haven't read so far. I also started "Worlds of Exile and Illusion " (a collection of her first three novels) and am somewhere midway through, so it wouldn't be too late to buddy read that one, too.
Yay! So it's a deal? When should we start? I'm on vacation right now, but anytime after next week is good for me. And we should put some info in the monthly thread, there might be more interested readers.
I'm fine with that! So we start in November? Or December? You decide! I'll post it in the monthly thread then. :-)
Errrm i think December would be cool as I'll have more free time to char about it then, and ill be spending time with my family who might like to join in with it as they are LeGuin fans too
