Lesley (eeevanwok) | 121 comments I may have already posted a message, but I can't see it here now. I would like to read "The Lathe of Heaven". Perhaps in July? Is anyone else interested ??

message 3: by Connie (new)

Connie G (connie_g) | 147 comments I would be interested in The Lathe of Heaven too. July would work for me.

message 4: by Luke (new)

Luke (korrick) I could do TLoH in July as well.

Lesley (eeevanwok) | 121 comments July 1 it is. Excellent!

message 6: by Pixelina (new)

Pixelina I am in for that one. Got quite a few others of here I want to read also.

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments Oh great! I just saw this topic.
I finished The Word for World Is Forest last night and must read more LeGuin, I love her writing.
So I'm definitely in! :)

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments Is still some one interested in reading LeGuin soon? :-) Because I am.

message 9: by Zanna (new)

Zanna (zannastar) | 337 comments Oooh The Lathe of Heaven is the only Le Guin I've read and that was only last year. I'm very keen to read more... Any suggestions?

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments I can definitely recommend the very short but very perfect "The Word for World is Forest " or a classic like "The Dispossessed". What I haven't read so far, have been meaning to for ages is "The Left Hand of Darkness".
I'm not sure, anyway, what happened to the original group read...

message 11: by Zanna (new)

Zanna (zannastar) | 337 comments All on my list, but I mean, does anyone want to do a buddy read or group read other The Lathe?

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments Well I'd be in for "Left Hand" oe basically anything else I haven't read so far. I also started "Worlds of Exile and Illusion " (a collection of her first three novels) and am somewhere midway through, so it wouldn't be too late to buddy read that one, too.

message 13: by Zanna (new)

Zanna (zannastar) | 337 comments Left Hand is a good idea since you mention you've been wanting to read it...

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments Yay! So it's a deal? When should we start? I'm on vacation right now, but anytime after next week is good for me. And we should put some info in the monthly thread, there might be more interested readers.

message 15: by Zanna (new)

Zanna (zannastar) | 337 comments Would you mind pushing this back to november or december? I've got a lot on the pile just now...

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments I'm fine with that! So we start in November? Or December? You decide! I'll post it in the monthly thread then. :-)

message 17: by Zanna (new)

Zanna (zannastar) | 337 comments Errrm i think December would be cool as I'll have more free time to char about it then, and ill be spending time with my family who might like to join in with it as they are LeGuin fans too

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments It's done then. I'll put up a not in the Dec thread! :)

message 19: by Zanna (new)
