Luke (korrick) My heart.

Maria (killerprion) | 17 comments Agree. She is wonderful! Just read "The ballad of the sad cafe" and loved it!

message 3: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments To my shame, I have not read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter yet... :P

message 4: by Luke (new)

Luke (korrick) I'm jealous that you have yet to experience it, Traveller. Horrendously so.

message 5: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments I would gladly read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter.

message 6: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Ok, waiting for enough people, then jumping on the Heart train.

message 7: by Russell (new)

Russell | 44 comments I would gladly be involved in a re-read of any of her wonderful books. Bring on the Heart train!

message 8: by Helen (new)

Helen | 26 comments I'd love to re-read these. They are really great novels.

message 9: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Hmmm. Any thoughts on when to schedule it? Is it more of a summer or fall book?

message 10: by Helen (new)

Helen | 26 comments Are you talking Northern or Southern hemisphere? I think we have a mix of people here, so we're not all reading in the same season.

message 11: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Pardon my Eurocentrism:)

message 12: by Helen (new)

Helen | 26 comments It's fine! We're just in our hot summer here in Australia, which suits the Southern heat in her novels, so I say now is a good time to start. But you might feel differently being in winter. :)

message 13: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments I'm not sure how I feel, really - I haven't seen an inch of snow this winter:( it looks like there have been two seasons recently in Poland- the flu season and the allergy season;)

message 14: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments I won't have time to do it right now, I am afraid...
For me, either March or July would be the best times.

Maybe late February, but January is very busy for me and February reasonably busy.

message 15: by Bloodorange (last edited Dec 22, 2014 02:17AM) (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments March sounds feasible, though I'm bound to have quite a lot on my hands. May would be better.

message 16: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments April? :P May would be hard for me...

message 17: by Bloodorange (last edited Dec 22, 2014 03:16AM) (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Aargh. April is the cruellest month for us teachers. I can tentatively try, if it works for others, too:)

message 18: by Traveller (last edited Dec 22, 2014 09:10AM) (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Err... last week of February running into March, then? (I've been thinking that we must be careful not to schedule our discussions too close together...)...but I'd rather clump one or 2 together in February if needs be. May would be nigh impossible for me though.

message 19: by Kris (new)

Kris (krisrabberman) I'm in for Heart.

message 20: by Russell (new)

Russell | 44 comments Last week of Feb, running into March suits me.

message 21: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments This sound fine to me.

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Oh, goodie! Let's see if it is already on the group schedule.

Okay - created some posts in the schedule, and started the discussion thread here : https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
