Cynthia Dunn I'd like to read The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Agnes Grey this year.

Jacob (jacobaugust) | 67 comments I'd like to as well. Bought both of them after finishing Villette earlier this month. I've also read Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, but have yet to give Anne a try.

I feel like I always re-read the two other Brontë sisters much more than I do Anne... so, because I somehow inadvertently neglect her, I would be up for either (or both, depending on time/schedule) her novels.

Jacob (jacobaugust) | 67 comments I'd like to pick a date for one or both of these before the schedule completely fills up. I haven't made any commitments for May yet, and the rest of the year isn't set in stone either. What do your schedules look like?

message 6: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Dunn May sounds fine. I'm going to have to make a calendar for all these books. I'm amenable to any other date if you prefer.

message 7: by Jacob (new)

Jacob (jacobaugust) | 67 comments Yeah, I finally had to make a calendar too, just to keep things sorted. What do you say to one in May and the other in June or July? Or would you prefer a bit more time between them?

message 8: by Yolande (new)

Yolande (sirus) I have The Tenant of Wildfell Hall that I want to read and June would be a good time for me.

message 9: by Jen (new)

Jen I would like to join you for Tenant, too. Anytime suits me.

message 10: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Dunn June for the Tenant, then?

message 11: by Jen (new)

Jen Great, count me in.

message 12: by Jacob (new)

Jacob (jacobaugust) | 67 comments June works for me. Then maybe Agnes Grey a little later in the year?

message 13: by Luke (new)

Luke (korrick) I'm good for Tenant.

message 14: by Sue (new)

Sue | 155 comments Hmmm. Have to check my calendar. It's really filling up but I do want to read this.

message 15: by Lisa (new)

Lisa | 88 comments I'm in for The Tenant of Wildfell Hall!

Literary Multitudes (literary_multitudes) | 60 comments Enjoy your read of "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall"!
It is probably my favorite of all the Brontë-books. (Well, "Jane Eyre" was my first love, there'll always be feelings... but "Tenant" is a very good book and much more sober than any other, I think.) I re-read it in 2014, so I may wait a bit until the next round. :)
