Gary the Bookworm (garmct) | 5 comments Count me in. I haven't read it in years. It's a bit over the top but hard to resist.

message 4: by Kalliope (new)

Kalliope | 93 comments Oh, hello Gary. Good to see you around.

Gary the Bookworm (garmct) | 5 comments Thanks...I'm in and out of consciousness. Emily Bronte always gets my attention.

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Read it, but love it, so... not sure if I'd do a full re-read. I'd definitely lurk at the very least, and possibly do a partial re-reading. Who knows, i might even re-read the whole thing... depending how time treats me.

Hate to admit at my advanced years that I never read it but I have at least two copies so name the date.

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Let's crash this party! So, when are we doing WH, gang?

message 9: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Hmm. September looks best for me. I would really like to avoid April, June, and July.

message 10: by Yolande (new)

Yolande (sirus) I think September can work for me :)

message 11: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Would late August early September work? September /October is hard for me...

message 12: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Dunn September is fine.

message 13: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Awww. I just remembered I will be away for a few days at the beginning of September, but aside from that it should be fine. As for late August, I should be at home or have Internet access, and will have one overlapping read. Not as good as Sept. (barring the school trip), but probably feasible.

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments If it's late September, I'm afraid that I'm out. :(

message 15: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Define late September, Trav?

message 16: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments From 20 September onwards? How long is your beginning of September? :(

message 17: by Bloodorange (last edited Feb 24, 2015 12:42PM) (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Ca. five days in the first week, I think? I completely forgot I will tutor grade 10 next year, which means going on a trip.

Having said that, I don't think we will deal properly with WH in less than 4 weeks. Your being 'out' with Sept. 20 means we should start at least on Aug 24.

message 18: by Traveller (last edited Feb 24, 2015 12:50PM) (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Hm, five days might actually not be a problem, with so many other discussions going on? But I guess that's not entirely up to me to decide. I'm just saying that I personally could live with a 5 days' break. :)

I might be able to stretch it to September 22. So how about August 22 to September 22 with a 5 day break?

message 19: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments That's fine with me (unless some minor holiday disaster strikes).

message 20: by Karin (new)

Karin | 80 comments Count me in, too! My schedule is flexible, so anytime is good :)

message 21: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Dunn Anytime.

message 22: by Kalliope (new)

Kalliope | 93 comments I will try to join, I think...

message 23: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Oh, thank you! ^_^

message 24: by Yolande (new)

Yolande (sirus) That works for me too.

message 25: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments If all of us agree to these dates, I'll post the announcements on the schedule page after work:)

If no one else volunteers, I think I can be a discussion leader - I used to teach WH - just high school, nothing fancy, but rather thoroughly, I think. Would anyone else want to do it?

message 26: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments I'll do some of the admin, no worries, Bloodorange, and for me it will work if you're discussion leader. :)

message 27: by Bloodorange (new)

Bloodorange (pani_od_angielskiego) | 618 comments Thanks and thanks, Trav:)

message 28: by Traveller (new)

Traveller (moontravlr) | 736 comments Thank you for offering, Bloodorange! :)
