I've been considering reading The Ghost Stories of Muriel Spark in October -- it's a short collection, just 135 pages, and I think it could be a fun, quirky collection for Halloween. Also, it will be easy to fit in amidst the longer reads being scheduled for that time. (I might also read some other ghost story collections by women around that time....)I'm sure I'll read some of her other books as well throughout 2015.
Just today completed reading her Memento Mori. An interesting story about the old people and their obsession with the death. A really interesting narration.
A superb article on Muriel Spark and on her works by Diane Mehta. If interested go through it. The link: http://therumpus.net/2015/01/and-she-...
