I've got The Enchanted April on hand if anyone's interested in a 2015 reading.

It was very good but I've got several more on my shelf tbr.

I need to read Elizabeth von Arnim as well -- open to any of her novels.

Lily, I have The Pastor's Wife, Mr. Skeffington (a wonderful movie), Elizabeth and Her German Garden, and Vera.

Another one I may try to join if I can.

(I do encourage Aubrey to read her copy of The Enchanted April. As I recall, my f2f group found it quite charming -- and we seldom go there as anything resembling a consensus.)

I just read The Enchanted April, which I loved, and Proustitute is reading it now as well. If anyone else wants to read it and create a quick discussion thread, let us know.

Just joined, I am very fond of Elizabeth von Arnim and have read several of her novels - yet have others on my TBR pile! Pleased to meet you all.

Since many of us already seem to have read - on a rather impromptu kind of read - Enchanted April, perhaps Mr. Skeffington has a next EvA read?

I liked Enchanted April overall, but felt the writing was uneven and sloppy at times. Still, I'm interested to read more of her work, and I have Mr. S sitting here... perhaps in Feb sometime?
