Hi everyone,
Although this is a difficult time for many and there is a lot of anxiety about the future, I am finding reading has really helped to refocus my thoughts and calm my heart. What are you reading or planning to read during this pandemic time?

Elizabeth | 3 comments I was reading two books,Life of the beloved: spiritual living in a secular world and Alchemist.
I had stopped reading because I am finding that I can’t concentrate and I am reading passage.
I may try an audio book.

I'm reading, for leisure, 'Go Like Hell' - the story of Ford vs Ferrari. Also just started 'Back to Virtue' by Peter Kreeft.

Glad you enjoyed it. I also like Ted Dekker. Patty Robinson is doing a review of several of his books in our newest edition of the ECC Reader newsletter - coming out soon!

Great! I loved that book! Definitely a must read - it’s almost a psychological thriller!

Yes, it’s a mixed bags isn’t it? All this time but our minds are so full of information and anxiety, it is hard to concentrate. Yes, audiobooks are great. Try something more in the area of fantasy. I always find when I’m stressed it helps me get out of the chaos of our world for a bit.

Peter Kreeft is a great author. I have not read Back to Virtue. Let us know what you think of it.

Great book!

Julie Thatcher | 1 comments I've been reading all Ernie Pyle's books. Sweet, simple, sad, such word pictures of the time! And the things people went through! Perspective. I've really enjoyed them.
