Please share what you are currently reading. And what is unusual or not, about this book.

I am reading "The Philosopher's War" by Tom Miller. It's a historical fantasy set during World war 1 and I love it's sense of adventure and the steampunk technology.

Piyali | 6 comments I am reading Less by Andrew Sean Greer. I can not get into the book as much as I would like to because news and the current madness is a huge distraction.

Carolyn | 1 comments I’m currently reading Lovely War. What is unusual about this story is that it is narrated in turns by the goddess Aphrodite and a few of the God-friends, but is, in fact, a historical fiction book that shares intersecting love stories. Loving it so far!

Piyali | 6 comments Lovely War sounds very interesting. I will check if our library owns it. Thanks Carolyn!

Tiffany (midscream1978) | 1 comments I am reading The Holdout by Graham Moore. Ironically, I received a jury summons the day after I started reading it!

Grace | 1 comments I'm reading In a Dark, Dark Wood. It's captivating at the beginning and makes you want to keep reading to find out what happened to the main character.

Oh! I just went and read up the review of The Holdout ! It shoulds very interesting. It's my next read since I find law dramas so fascinating. And that's why Grisham used to be a fave ...

Arlene♡ (locpressedbooks) | 1 comments I'm reading Wizard and Glass by Stephen King

Piyali | 6 comments I just finished "Autobiography of a Fat Bride" by Laurie Notaro. It was somewhat funny but the self deprecating humor, for me, was a little over the top.

Kristen Blount | 1 comments I reread a favorite: The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison. At its heart, it's a story of kindness and choosing to do better.

Piyali | 6 comments I started Sally Hepworth's The Family Next Door. a friend introduced me to this author's books and I love them. A few are available on Libby.

Michelle Robbins markow | 2 comments Here is what I read in March:

*When She Returned and The Perfect Child, both by Lucinda Berry. Both books took my breath away although the ending in Perfect Child was a let down.

*A Good Neighborhood by Therese Anne Fowler--slowy slow slow slow with flat characters. When it wasnt slow it was cringeworthy. Not a fan

I finished the Book Woman of Troublesome Creek and loved it!

Piyali | 6 comments There was something about the book that did not appeal to me. I liked reading about the blue people and researched it right away but I think it was her writing style that I did not enjoy.
