Little Universes Sister Buddy Read discussion

I was SO THRILLED to find out that Little Universes was getting an audiobook. My dad is a truck driver and he hasn't been able to listen to any of my contemporary novels. This is his preferred way of experiencing books, so I'm thrilled that this is the one he'll have.

Especially with people social distancing, this is extra helpful. The two gals reading Hannah and Mae, Jesse Vilinksy and Rebekkah Ross, are amazing! I can't wait to hear what you think of their interpretation of my girls.

I really love how Jesse brings out Hannah's deep emotion with that sardonic edge (all armor!). And Rebekkah does such a fantastic job showing us Mae's thoughtful, sweet, logical self.

What drew you to hearing the story as opposed to reading it? Will you also read the book on paper or ebook, or just listen? Tell me what you thought!

I read it digitally but do have the physical ARC. I think I'll re-read via audiobook, since I'm trying to support my local indie bookstore via Libro.fm (and Lauren hasn't read the book yet).

The audio narrators are awesome. As an author, it's SO strange having someone read my book out loud, to hear voices that are different from the ones in my head...but it's so cool to experience my story in a whole new way!
